K3 process is lagging...

Timeline

while looking thru the K1 timeline database i noticed that ALL of the service centers have posted appovals since 05 March 2006 (albiet Nebraska looks like only one or two). All except Missouri. We've seen a lot of double or duplicate emails from them, repeated RFE's for the same thing to some people, and borderline incoherent instructions for us to decypher at our peril.

I think i may have figured out what's going on: They've been partying like animals over there since stopping work last 05 March, and they haven't sobered up yet...

To counteract this unfortunate event, we should immediately send them tons of fresh coffee and aspirin. I'll bet we see a dramatic improvement in processing numbers (given, it's not very difficult to improve from zero) once they brew the first pot.

NBC (Need Black Coffee)

joking aside, i predict first round of lucky K3 approvals next week....

now, I shall try the subliminal approach:

Obviously, you haven't heard about Diversion Day. It's the best kept secret about the immigration process, and something government employees have known for years: Fun and games will keep you sane!

It starts with playing hookey, going to a museum or park, eating a Chinese Lupper (late lunch or early supper) and watching Napoleon Dynamite. That's the movie that proves the American Dream is still possible, even for geeks and illegals.

So stop driving yourself loony trying to predict the future based on patterns in bird droppings, and give yourself one helluva Diversion Day. (report back)

With Misouri screwing up like this is there anyone we can contact about it?

Whe I begun this process I figured the I129F would be faster than the I130, but right know who can tell. I fell so sorry for those of you out there waitng for more time than I have.

Jerseygirl: you have anything funny or sarcastic for us on the weary side today???????

I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"If marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed out?"

"You never really know a man until you have divorced him."-Zsa Zsa Gabor

"When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife." Deuteronomy 24:1-2

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." - Franklin D. Roosevelt

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." - Helen Keller

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?" - Mary Manin Morrissey

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much." - Mother Theresa

chris&o, you're probably still passed out, but when you wake up, and brush the sand out of your nether regions, tell me what you think about making Diversion Day a weekly event. You know, having regularly scheduled mindless fun with people who are sympathetic to our insanity.

The beer, though, needs to be limited, since alcohol is a depressent and we're all flirting with that already. I was thinking about branching out into chocolate fudge cake but was too lazy to go to the store. I consider this evidence my Guardian Angel hasn't given notice yet.

Humor is the only medicine that will save our asses, bony, Brazilian, and otherwise. So let's be clowns. Let's laugh at ourselves because we are ridiculous, spending our days being wildly indignant over doube-letter clerical errors for which no one is responsible and no heads will roll.

We all met through the miracle of the Internet and have forgotten to be grateful for friends. The kind who understand our plight. The kind who'll give you a shoulder to cry on. The kind who'll buy you a beer when you need one. chris&o, you don't need one. You've had too many already. So quick like a bunny, Fed Ex me what's left in that case of Heiniken.
