HELP! My husband and I got an interview notice at Charlotte on 8/8/2006. He will be in Asia on a business trip w/ plane ticket booked/paid. We want to reschedule the interview but we are concerned that this will delay the process by more than 6+ months...or even get us denied.

Can someone share his/her experience in rescheduling an interview? How long did it take USCIS to respond to the request and how long of a delay will the 2nd interview be?

Thank you so much for helping. We are really concerned/worried.

well I have not had to reschedule but I am sure it will set you back, but for how long I am not sure. you should notify them asap and set a new date and see if they can tell you how long of a wait good luck!!

May God's Grace be all you will ever need ticker.png

Trying to reschedule your interview may well result in a denial for failing to show up.... is there anyway that your husband can change his plans or fly home for the interview...

The only person I have heard about rescheduling was because the wife was in hospital giving birth... and they got a denial and had to go through the process of filing to reopen their case...

If your husband cant do anything to change his plans, make an infopass appointment at the office where the interview is going to be and take evidence of the business trip/letter from employer and tickets...

Good Luck
