I've seen this before toward the end of the month; I can't quite get my arms around the psychology.

Maybe they think there's a point system for being the first in a category for a new month.

It doesn't fool anybody except the person who does it.

If someone thinks about it but stops short of putting in phony data, is that what they call self-policing?

Should we have a "congrats" thread for stuff that hasn't happened yet?

We got Tim & Rachael and Amor & Aaron & Sheila & Greg (No VJ account links there)

We also got Raphael & Jezebel

and Valerie & James in this group.

There are a few more dated today but I don't know if they were early on

the trigger also, because as of today their sent date is not in the future.

Anyway, congrats to all the above who are guessing when they will have sent their packages.

Latest I-129F Filers

We have 2 filers (with bullets?) for November already...how time flies.

Was there any reason for the timeline to accept dates in the future,

or was it just that the designers assumed nobody would do that?

I can't speak for the others, but I had the package finished (tabbed, even, and tabs prepared for the photocopied sections of the two I'm keeping), and got hit with midterms (grad school) before I could photocopy/mail it. It's a simple enough task, just a matter of having the time to do the photocopies (which, sadly, won't happen until Thursday).

It doesn't help the timelines at all if people are trying to 'predict' when they will receive the NOA1 or NOA2 - 'stuff' happens and your prediction may be way off but then the information is set in stone and can't be changed - and the time frames are then skewed into inaccuracy. You can predict - since the action is totally in your control - when you mail out the I-129f but you can't predict USCIS.

So, please do not enter the dates for an NOA until you have actually had that date confirmed - which doesn't happen in advance, therefore the most 'recent' date should be today's date - not tomorrow's or next week's.

For the first 3 entries (2 of 3 in the future) in the database sorted by most recent I-129F sent,

the "members" have no link to their members' profile - does that mean they have created

a timeline without actually making a member account, or did they restrict viewing of their profile?
