Hello everyone,

I have just gotten as much as I can together to send into CSC. I haven't gotten as much as I had hoped, but this is what I'm going to send in:

- copies of green cards (myself and twin daughters)

- bank records from when we opened the acct, middle, and the most recent statement

- joint tax transcripts from 07 and 08

- copy of car insurance and ownership in both our names

- copy of health insurance with our names and my kids on it

- copy of airline/car rental itinerary from our last vacation to Florida

- copy of Travel Club we purchased together that shows both our names

- many pics of us through the last 4 years (from when we met to now)

That is it. I wonder if I need any affidavits as well???

We do not have rent/mortgage or any utility/phone bills in "our" name. I live with my husband on the "family homestead" that is all under the families name, we do not pay rent or anything...just repair when required and make sure it is habitable for the next generation of farmers. All the utilities are and have been in just my husbands name for years, so we saw no need to change it.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Vicki

Looks good. I would not worry with affidavits.

In response to your utility bills dilemma --- do you have anything that comes to you in your name? Cell phone bills, subscriptions or anything else? If so then submit copies of those along with the utility bills in your husband's name to show that you are both living at the same address.

Good luck.

I agree with Mozplay, you can always submit mail, bills and or subscriptions that come in your both names separately.

I wouldn't send too many pictures to not overwhelm them. I sent 10.

I think you have enough good evidence that you don't need affidavits.

You can always explain your living situation (family homestead, the fact you don't have a lease or pay rent) in a separate letter.

Thank you all for your great replies. I will get some of my magazine subscriptions and copy them as well as a few other things with his name on them. In my cover letter to USCIS I will explain our living situation.

Again, thanks!

Without this discussion forum, I may have gone insane at times.

Cheers

I agree too and I would not worry about affidavits. Our package was very similar to yours and we think that is enough evidence.

Difficult for me to understand why people wouldn't "play it safe" and submit affidavits. :bonk:

More amo the better!
