#######!!!

I am receiving a second RFE in the mail from Homeland Secuirty. I have already received one maybe two or three weeks ago and turned it around during 4th of July holiday. I sent what was requested of me certified with a returned receipt which I already have received in the mail.

Has this happened to anyone else. ####### is going on here, I am losing my faith that they have thier act together!!! Before anyone asks, no they are not asking for even more information it's the same request as before...

A lot of people said K-3's wouldn't be affected by IMBRA. However, based on the lack of approvals and the twin RFE's, someone was definitely misinformed.

I am sorry it has effected you as well but I am glad I was not singled out. I will be sending it what they requested again with copies of the returned receipt and certified postage along with a letter so that it's known that they should already have my paperwork in a stack someone where :(

I am calling these folks on Monday to find out what's up with double requests.

I got an email on 07/13/06 stating they got my RFE, and today i also got a second copy of the IMBRA RFE.

I am hoping that they mailed them twice to make sure no one can say they did not get one...wish they would do that with the interview letters as it seems quite a few of those never make it to the petitioner/benificiary.

OUR K-3 INTERVIEW WAS ON NOV. 1ST @ 10:00!!!

VISA APPROVED!!!

WE ARRIVE IN THE USA ON NOV. 10TH!!!

I got my second request toady, received my first one on 7/3/06 and mailed it priority mail with dleivery receipt confirmation - was delivered 7/8/06. I don't thnik they have a clue! I would think if they were just making sure that they would have indicated that this was a second request just in case .... but the RFE is exactly the same as the first no mention of a second request ..... :bonk:

I think most of us have received a 2nd copy of the RFE. When I called USCIS, they said I still had to send back the duplicate RFE, even though they already received my original response. I was instructed to send a copy of my original response, a copy of the email from them stating that they received it, and the new form signed/dated AGAIN.

This is truly ridiculous, but it's happening to most of us out here. Guess we just have to respond again.

but they have not acknowledged the receipt of my first RFE yet. like no updates on the system and no email. So maybe they all got lost or something. Or maybe there was a flood of RFE's and they just could not hold them. It reminds me of the scene in harry potter, where they are trying to get the letters to him but the aunty and uncle wont let them. And all of a sudden dozens of owls come by and drop letters lol and now they are just overflowing with letters. lol

.. or did you see that movie Beetlejuice? The scene where all the dead people were waiting in that office for hundreds of years to be processed after death? Kind of seems similar to our situations........

If you haven't seen it, you should rent it bro. Because we're living it!

It reminds me of the scene in harry potter, where they are trying to get the letters to him but the aunty and uncle wont let them. And all of a sudden dozens of owls come by and drop letters lol and now they are just overflowing with letters. lol
