January 25, 2010 - Cory received her SSN

March 9, 2010 - Received appointment for biometrics - will be on March 18

March 18, 2010 - Biometrics done

March 19, 2010 - Touches on I-485 and I-765

March 25, 2010 - Advance Parole approved..received on April 1 in the mail

March 29, 2010 - I-485 notice date, received on April 4, 2010

May 3, 2010 - EAD approved

May 5, 2010 - Date interview....approved

congratulations! it will be very fast after the NOA2;

you'll get the hardcopy NOA2 probably in a week. make sure you keep that safe as it it important for the AOS

try calling the embassy about 2-3 weeks after NVC sends out the case to the embassy as you can likely be eligible for the interview around this time.

I did that and when I called I found out I could set the interview a week after I called :)

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Well what can I say. Ryshel went to the interview in Manila (in and out in record time) PASSED. Last Thursday she received her packet from the Embassy. As I write this she is moving her things from our apartment to her sisters place and in 2 days I will board a plane and go get her.

Wow only two days to clean my bachelor pad and convert it into a home.
