Feeling Hopeless

Hello fellow members,

I am feeling hopeless since it's been 5 months since our I-130 application was sent.Until now all we got was the NOA 1. no touches,no emails or no updates on our status online.

I seen some april filers who was already approved.We send our I-130 for my 2 kids on April this year and did not hear anything about it.What are we supposed to do?

Hope anyone here can give me an insights. I would appreciate it so much.

Who is we? In the petition process there is no WE... was it you or your spouse who sent the I-130's?

No reason to get down, if its any condolence I sent my I-130 in February 09 and did not receive my NOA1 until May 09 and then did not get the NOA2 until middle of August. So I completely understand how you feel!!! But I do have a suggestion that did help speed up my NOA2. I emailed the Service Center that had my case about the delay and they emailed me back within 2 days and then 2 days after that I was Approved. It cant hurt so give it a try....best of luck!!!

This was filed by the PR or the USC? If by the PR, be prepared to wait a LONG TIME.

If by the USC, I sense it's time to call USCIS and see what's going on. Supposedly, CSC has a 5 month 'wait' , and you're just past 'week 1' of the 5 month wait period.

WE means me and my husband (USC) who is the petitioner. We sent the petition in April 09 and its my USC husband who is the petitioner being my kids' step dad.Of course its not only me but us so i said we..lol

I'm also an April filer, just got the approvals for my parent. wait till end of this month and if you don't see any approval raise a service request. I hope you will see something before the month ends.
