I've been around here for more than 3 months and I think I know most of the people here already especially in Philippines forum...KNOW in the sense that, I just know their names, posts and the way they react and share their thoughts so this time it's not about US. We're already known so let's introduce our partners to people we know here by just giving basic infos like name, age, where they're from and what they do..you can write anything about them or you can give as little infos as you want. I'm starting this thread because I find myself many times wondering what type of person the particular VJ member is married/engaged to especially after reading threads. I just hope this won't be "hijacked" and please use English so everyone can participate and have fun.

So, to start this thread, let me introduce my husband...his name is Chris, 40 years old, born and raised in New York but currently in Las Vegas. He works for IRS handling tax fraud cases. He's fun to be with, loves to cook, hardworking and dedicated.

There...simple.

well, i think the OP was not asking for "identifications", she even said as little infos as you want. and i don't think your SO will be stalked if you just give age and hometown.

I think this is a fun thread ^_^

I call my fiance Michey, which is pronounced as Mikey.. his sister even wondered why i spell it like that lol.. I just tell him because I want to be the only one to call him with that spelling lol

He is funny, very romantic, patient, and is so much fun to be with, although he enjoys giving me a hard time lol he has a big heart and is a gentleman, he knows how to make cookies(i dont) but I try to help him out with cooking meals lol

He enjoys football, I talk about shoes lol

a lot of people have said we are still too young to get married being 23, but I think there's really no age to being with your soulmate :) and because I think God has given us both to each other ^_^

Luke 18:27 Jesus said" what is impossible to men is possible with God."

I also love this thread. I think some people do want to talk about those who they love. With that being said....

Loke does all the laundry and I do dishes and housework lol... he always pays the rent and I pay the other bills. He is free like me, addicted to the internet like me and we never fight. When I want to fight, he gets all reasonable and I loose lol.

He is the most amazing man I ever met. He believes in a life that's fair and honest and fun all at the same time. His smile is worth more than everything I own. He drives me nuts and I hate him and yet I love the ####### out of him. He debates with me, but not with a harsh tone. He is reasonable and sensible and it frustrates me lol... probably because I always want to be right about everything and I'm not.

He is everything I need... a man who can teach me patience and yet allow me to be me. He is my soul mate and the love of my life. He loves my human flaws because they are a part of my human and I love his flaws because they are a part of him.

We have been married now for 2 1/2 years and I still feel newlywed. We are not perfect, we are us.

Thank you.

you don't have to post specific details and personal info. you could always post what he/she is like. :)

my hubby's name is Stephen. he was pinoy until he got naturalized. ;) he's turning 25 in november (like odessa and her hubby, we married young too). he is in the navy. he's a little sloppy in his habits but does chores from time to time just because he wants to make me happy. :D and like any other guy, he hates coming with me when i go shopping (just 2 seconds in a store and he tells me he's dizzy)!

ROC mailed to USCIS -- June 10, 2011

ROC approved -- November 1, 2011

finally free of USCIS paperwork!

My husband thinks I am paranoid and I think too much of making a mistake in immigration by concentrating too much on it lol, but damnit I can't stop.

Thanks to those who finds this thread fun...I was kinda worried when I read the first reply because I thought all of you would think the same but I realized people here are mature and want to have fun while on their visa journey. I'm having fun and reading your posts makes me smile. Please keep them coming. I love the real-life love stories.

My husband Rick is his 40s (what he likes to do is commemorate his 30th birthday...so this year is the _th anniversary of his 30th birthday lol).

Rick is a special needs teacher based in Florida, where he has lived most of his life. He deals mainly with adults (16 years old or older) with special needs. He loves to help people. :)

Who knew his life's vocation would lead him to marrying a special child...me. :D:wacko: (And I do say that with the straightest face possible.) We laugh about that a lot...we are so much alike, even in our twisted sense of humor...a lot of times you hear him say to me "You're just not right." lol

If that isn't bad enough, our daughter Pippo hears that a lot from him, too. lol

He loves fishing and college football (Gooooooooooooooo NOLES!)...he doesn't watch the pro games...he thinks those guys don't have their heart in the game anymore...and are just doing it for the cash. The high school and college kids, you know they always play with heart.

He loves cookies and will eat just about anything in between...big NO to blue cheese, artichokes (which he insists tastes like a pine cone...like I really want to know how he knows that), and Brussels sprouts.

I am his world...and he most definitely is mine. :) I feel very blessed to have found him after being lost for so long. Aw hell what can we tell you...we're just in love. (L)

Be smart, have a plan, and hang on to the people you love. - Chris Gardner

My wife is short, and has a nice tan.

Hahahaa!! Hey, hold on a minute! I wonder if your wife and mine might be sisters cuz you described my wife to a tee!?! Her name's Merlaine and she's 31, I'm 46. She's funny (crazy lol), smart (Teaching degree), gorgeous (of course, Filipina) loves pink and hates the water..LOL I ask her all the time how in the world she lives on an island and doesn't like boats or water..LOL Since there aren't any teaching jobs, she runs her store and internet cafe out of her house. I'm the paperwork freak and she's the one asking, "Do I really need to put my name on that form?" LOL
