K2/AOS Approved but concerned

Well we went for our K2/AOS interview on July 13th in Memphis for my two step-sons. The interview went well and he told my 20 year old that he was just under the wire so I guess that he would have aged out in his 21st birthday in September.

The agent told us that they were approved and I watched him write approved on the documents and 'G' for granted on his list of names for the day. He told us that we would receive cards within 30 days. I ask for a passport stamp but was told that they did not stamp passports. He also told us the the boys would apply for the conditions to be removed in one year with their mother.

Well all looked great.. When we got home from Memphis, one son's online status had been updated with the approval and welcome notice. The other son has not been touched.. Geezzz... Do you think that they have droped the ball and missed updated the other.. I am afraid that something fell through the cracks..

I thought my worries were over, but now I will have this on my mind....

Congrats on the approvals.

I had my interview on May 17th.

My son and I were both approved, but my 17 year old sons name check didnt get back yet.

They did stamp my passport, but not my sons. I cant understand why some offices give the stamp, and others dont.

Plus I thought it was two years before you can apply to remove the conditions.

They told you 1 year?

They probley just didnt update your other step son's file yet online. I am sure you will hear something soon.

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

07-08-2014---to 7-10-2014 (3 days Sputum Test) Negative result

09-09-2014---Sputum Final Result: (PASSED!!! 9-08-14 )

09-16-2014---Interview (221(g) for NBI a.k.a. name, I864 Orig. Signature & NSO verification)

09-25-2014---Documents sent via 2go

09-29-2014---221g documents delivered. & signed by L. Bernardino

09-30-2014---and 10-01-2014,Touched but still on AP

10-07-2014---Email sent to USEM

10-15-2014---Called USEM

10-16-2014---Sent Fax to USEM of approved expedited letter from U.S. Embassy General

10-21-2014---Touched but still on AP

10-22-2014---Visa Issued :joy:

Thanks for the positive ramarks.. right now I need some positive thinking so keep it up...

Also.. it is two years but my wife received her greencard in August, 2005. The interviewer told us that the boys would apply to remove conditions with her. This is where the one year comes in. I did not know that they would apply with her...
