Hi,

I had my medical in Toronto on Monday at Dr Seiden's...and I don't have much extra to add to all those detailed long reviews other people wrote.

You can do your medical on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It seems like they are very available...I called on Wednesday and booked an appointment for the following Monday, so no waiting there. Imagine, if only booking appointments in MTL worked just like that...

Definitely arrive early. I was there at 6.50am and there were already 5 other people waiting but I was done with everything at 9am, not bad at all. Waiting between X-ray and bloodwork I talked to really nice people...and I told them about visajourney :) coz as we all know, without VJ this whole immigration mambo jumbo would be just a mess...Most of them were K filers without an interview date yet. The staff at Seiden's was nice and professional, especially a male doctor who examined me. I skipped my usual morning coffee in order to keep my blood pressure reading under control ;) besides, even though there is nothing to be stressed about I think I had enough adrenaline for at least 2 more people. I don't have any conditions nor do I take any medication so the doctor was running an auto-pilot checking off the boxes. After all was done I checked out at the reception and was told to pick up the results on Wednesday after 12pm or any other day after that. If you want, you can also have them mailed to you at an extra fee. I just came back from the clinic, got my sealed envelope with 'DO NOT OPEN' on it, x-ray and vacc record. The super nice lady who gave it to me said all's good and l am ready for the interview B)

So, this was my 'medical' experience :)

PS. Thanks to everyone who posted their medical reviews before, they were of a great help!

Glad you had a good experience. They told me my apointment was for 7...but by the sounds of it, I'll probably get there earlier.

2 questions to anyone that can answer....

1. if you ARE on any meds, do you need anything from your family doctor stating so?

2. can someone else pick up the results? or is it "only you or mailed out" the only option?

Thanks

# 1 - I was on blood pressure meds, and I didn't get a letter from my doctor. I just hand wrote the med, dosage and how often I take it and for what reason. That was fine.
