Exactly - its so fvcking childish this assertion that there are clearly defined sides where everyone holds identical, cardboard cutout opinions.

What Joe seems unable to accept is that individuals have a variance of opinion. He seems to think that the only debates that exist are between partisan types over partisan issues, and not over individual ideology.

Lets be honest though, a political discussion with Joe is like playing chess with a kid. The kid at some point is just going to knock the pieces off the board and declare victory.

I never said being a lib was a disease. Its you people who say its not a bad thing, but you're offended if you're called one. Its hilarious, and one of the reasons I keep doing it. You guys completely hijack threads because you're so offended by the Lib label. Who posts on their emotions now? Who is irrational? Its the libs of course.

Now lets get back on topic.

You're the one who throws the chess pieces off the table each time you're taunted with the word "Lib". You post on emotions whenever the word comes up, so its easy to see where the "kids" are and where the "adult" is.

Settle down there little joe. Here's some warm milk so you can calm down and try to post in a calm manner like an adult. Your little generalizations and supposed observations about how people post and their predispositions to life and the world is getting a bit out of hand.

You're right, Joe. It IS hilarious, but for me the humor is in wondering how someone could have reached adulthood with such idiotic ideas.

You waded into these forums like this, Joe. It isn't something that manifested itself gradually in an attempt to piss off specific people here. So I don't buy the assertion you're making that its all some big joke.

I think that you actually believe these things, and the reason that you can't do anything else is simply because if you had to do away with this mode of argument that you wouldn't have anything to say.

Quite simply - stupid is as stupid does.

You guys are cute.

I don't post things particularly to piss people off. The fact that is DOES piss people off speaks volumes. Its the same people who say being a liberal is a great thing, but when i refer to them as such they get their panties in a bind.

I've been called every name in the book, do you see me flipping my lid? Neocon, right-winger, etc. It doesn't bother me one bit. I take them as compliments. The only thing is that Neocons are too liberal for my taste.

Anyway.. Stop being so uptight and hijacking posts because you're offended at "LIB"

I'm not offended by the label Joe, I'm offended by the rank stupidity behind your application of it.

If I've similarly stereotyped you as a "right-winger" or a "neocon", I'm sure you'll let me know.

No sir. Because unlike several here, i'm not trying to one-up anyone (at least not in the serious sense.)

Good, then perhaps I should start using your own tactics against you.

I expect the fun will wear off real fast.

Others already have. Only with them it makes no sense. I expect it will have no effect on me if you do. Have at it.

I'll admit I didn't vote for Obama. I voted against him. I don't like him or many of his policies. Despite these things, I also realize that this country has some real problems that are not getting better. He didn't become president at the best time and many of his plans will take time to work. I don't much care for his plans, but because I want to see things get better in this country, I really hope for everyone's sake that his policies do work.

People are losing faith in him. I've seen many former Obama supporters that now don't like him. He promised change and he is giving us change, but many are realizing it wasn't exactly what they wanted or they feel the changes aren't making a difference fast enough. For the next few years, we are stuck with him. I can only hope that he helps this country more than he hurts it.
