I hear the frustration and hurt in your post explaining what happened, please us some restraint so that it doesn't come out as anger towards her.

Remember she is just as hurt and probably even more so as she now feels she has failed you.

Search the forums here, I've glanced across threads about failed interviews and they seem to agree the thing to do is prevent the USEM from returning the petition to the US.

Find a way to get them to review the file and submit BOTH the corrected and incorrect Police Certificates along with copies of any correspondance with Baharain regarding the problem.

If you really love her then you will not give-up on the process and you will not be angry at her for a small mistake.

Hi Eros...

I'm sorry about the interview problem. My fiancée and I have been in your shoes. Don't quit just yet. Hang in there. The problem is probably a simple one to fix.

My fiancée called me after her interview too. The Consul Officer had given her a white slip instead of a pink slip. The white slip instructed my fiancée what paperwork she needed to submit to the USEM.

I sent her the needed paperwork via Fed Ex Express and it arrived in Manila at her hotel in three days. She submitted it to the USEM the same day that it arrived in Manila. She followed the instructions on the white slip and submitted the paperwork to Window 17 (or, Window X). She received her visa the next week.

Maybe your fiancée is in the same situation. Maybe she simply received a white slip from the Consul Officer, and all she needs to do is to submit the corrected certificate. I hope so.

Best wishes...

Her US embassy Interview today failed, I do not know all the details yet......

I just want to thank you all for the support and kind words given to us along the way.

I know this sound kind of harsh, but this journey has been too long from me. It has been 3 years in the making, it been affecting my health in major ways and sometime the "ONE UP there" is trying to send me many signals which I may have failed to understand them.

So once I will know little more details, I will probably make a very tough decision....

Once again, I want to thank you all again for the friendship, the support, the fun at times making this journey a little easier...

God Bless and Best Wishes to you all....in journey and relationship.

Truly,

Eros and Sally

It is indeed a sad news; however I do believe you will make the right decision concerning your future.

Well.... here is what I was able to get out of an hysterical fiance....

it all goes back to a GOOD CONDUCT certificate of Bahrain..... the one we spend 5 months try to correct.

THE CERTIFICATE from HELL..... i call it....and rightly so...

They send it with the WRONG birth date on it the first time....so we requested again...some IDIOT there screw it up.

They finally send us the corrected one.....

Now there is so much i can do....but there is no medication for ...."lack of use of brain and common sense"...

I explained over and over, make sure you take with you the CORRECTED ONE with you...so will not get confused...maybe just destroy the WRONG one....

So which one you all think she took with her.....take a wild guess !!!!!!!

So the words...she hear...

who is this person with the wrong birth date on this certificate for Bahrain?....

she explain to them that they send the wrong certificate and later they send one that is correct...

But Guess what....she cant find it in her all documentation she took with her.....she must left it at home....

the final words from embassy was.... INTERVIEW FAILED...YOU CAN GO HOME NOW....

Now I really do not know what do next....what the next steps should be...

I am really not sure how to deal with this anymore.....

just too tired and sick about it...along other health problems i have already to deal with...

"Greetings!!!!

It has been said and done....let the hurt passed by. Theres no one of you to be blamed . And Im sure there are couples here who have experienced same situation, yet were able to reunite after sometime, and fellah VJers who happen to know one are very willing to help u out , get up and try to keep things on track the second time. You and your fiancee are in my prayers. ^_^^_^^_^ NEVER EVER GIVE UP!

Whenever u feel weak, remember those who make u stronger...And Whenever u start to doubt yourself, remember those who believe in you.

Be strong, I believe your situation can still be rectified.

First, I hope and pray your fiancee still has the corrected and right International police clearance.

Second, why not call the US Embassy and explain te situation? Coming from the USC petitioner I am sure they will listen and from there you can take further steps to make everything ok. This is just a matter of submitting the correct document which is actually existing.

I can understand your frustration and anger because of what happened especially that you kept telling her to bring the correct one during the interview. She was probably nervous and anxious which was expected.

Dont give up on the journey .

Goodluck.

I hate to air my dirty laundry....but

But I really think we (me and Sally) have serious language problems.....that really becomes more and more apparent when things go wrong....and they have been quite a few things go wrong...many up and down..

I really not blaming her...myself... or the US embassy for that matter,

as I said before this is (or was, not sure at moment) a relationship 3+ years now...

But I will be waiting for days now trying to figure it out...

if she got a WHITE slip or not?...what does that say on the white slip?....

If you understand my meaning...

there is a limit on everything....i will be seriously thinking about this relationship in next few days....

Best wishes....

Claudeth forgot to get her German police clearance translated so was placed on missing document hold. All your fiancee has to do is submit the correct document and the process will be able to continue. Don't give up just yet.

I'm sorry to hear about that. I know it's hard to do this, but look at what happened in a positive side. There may be a reason why it happened. I hope something will be done for you to be together someday. Good luck & be strong.
