Here is the problem my fiancee went to get her son's passport today. When she went in line and showed her birth certificate and showed her sons birth certificate there was a problem. They noticed that on her son's birth certificate they had misspelled her first name. Pasha on son's but is suppose to be El-Fasha. Now her interview is next month and it will take two to three months to have it fixed. But at the DFA they just made her get a Affidavit of Support stating her name and notarized, she got two of them will the embassy take the Affidavit of Support too. Or should I just tell them that her son will follow her to the US after he gets the birth certificate fixed. But on all the form i put that her son will travel with her. I am in the Philippines now.

Thanks
