  1. 1. Who should use the "N" word?

    • Only Black people--they endured slavery, they can say it.

    • Any Dark people, including Black, dark Asian, South American, and extremely tan people.

    • Whoever wants to, freedom of speech. Make sure you can defend yourself, though.

    • Nobody, it represents National shame, and should be outlawed just as everything Nazi has been outlawed in Germany.

It shouldn't be used in any case in my opinion.

My friend almost offended an African American lady when she said something in her language that sounds almost like the N word though...

People should feel free to use whatever words they are willing to stand by. Conversational context is more important than what the word is suppose to mean.

don't be niggardly with your words - tell us what you really think.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Terrible and just wrong.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I don't think it is a national shame, and I certainly don't think it should be illegal, but it certainly has some very negative connotations. I don't allow ANYONE to use it in my classes. I don't have one set of rules for one group of students and another set of rules for other students. However, I do think it is up to individuals how they want to use the word outside of my classroom or similar settings. I don't like hearing it. I hope my daughter never uses it.
