Okay, so I have to share this for lack of anywhere else to put it. I am going to school full time at a University and one of my classes is Islam. Most of the people in the class are not Muslim so it is interesting to see what people think as we study the history and religious aspects. Tuesday (now yesterday) I had my first quiz and got 94 percent on it. I felt pretty good about it, but my husband keeps harping me that I should have got 100 percent, especially because I am Muslim and should know the material.

The thing he doesn't understand is this quiz also covered pre-Islamic times and information you just don't study when learning about Islam through mosques and Islamic literature. There were a couple of question that covered points the professor made in class only in passing. One example would be if there were historical documents outside Islamic text that had mentioned the prophet (PBUH) at the time he was alive or shortly thereafter. He mentioned that there were in class, but I couldn't recall how many or where. Naturally this was a question on the test so not sure I got it right. There were a few other questions like this. I feel pretty good about my grade, but my husband is driving me nuts about how I should have done better. His father always held him to high standards when he grew up and accepted nothing less than 100. My husband was punished many time for scoring only in the 90s so now he is passing this habit from his father off on me. Anyway, just want some input into what you guys think. Thanks.

I agree with Judy...give him the test. Your score was good and I see nothing wrong with how

you did. Do you think this will put you in a stressed out way everytime you have to attend your

Islam class? If you can try your best to have a talk with him about it. I'm Catholic, but that doesn't mean I know 100% about the Catholic religion. Good luck with your class!!

Happy Wednesday! I really am forcicng the exclamation marks today. I have an exam in about 2 hours. It is the first of 2 and a project that is due from the classes I had to take when I was in Wisconsin. I have to score above an 85 on everything to become certified. Needless to say, I am very nervous because this has to do with my job. I haven't taken a test in so long my fingers are shaking! Cross your fingers, say a prayer or just send a good vibe my way because I am going to need it.

S and S...I agree, give him the test and see how he scores. He should know the answers without going to the class since he is Muslim right? Islam is huge and there is so much to learn that I don't believe that any one person can know everything. You did an awesome job on your exam! Feel good about it girl!

Have a great day everybody and take care!

BTW..congrats Sandra and Ahmed!

Might I suggest you ask him a couple of the harder questions? Let's just see if he can get 100%.

Thanks girlies!

I took the test and feel good about it. It was not easy but I referenced every question I didn't know until I found the answer. I double checked it 3 times so I am hoping I get a good one on this one! If I can get a 100 on my project it helps for the Software Admin portion of the exam I will take last of all.

Doing good Lisa. Just staying really busy and hard at work! Hubster comes home in two weeks and two days and I can't wait to see him again. Little Malek has quit looking for baba around the house and it makes me kind of sad but I still mention him and now when baba calls Malek will not even put the phone to his ear :( It will be interesting to see how they rekindle their flame!
