I'm active duty military and i was looking at the requirements for the I-134 form for the interview and it mentions "Letter of employment or job offer." when it comes to military service do i need to include just some LESs and ETS(estimated time of seperation) date or do i need to get my supervisor or commander to write a letter for me?

Michael I do not know what the military does with regards to pay but I just sent my wife in (K3) with some current pay stubs with matching bank statements to support the affidavit. This was after emails to the consulate asking them exactly what they actually wanted to see. They were interested in:

Historical income (previous year's with tax return/W2)

Current income (even though I filled out the I134 a bit early I waited until nearly interview time to supplement the affidavit with the current pay stubs)

Bank statements, current, we submitted (3) months

If you want a letter as well then your commander can write a simple one on paper with starting date, rate of pay, and saying that you are currently employed on letterhead with signed name / rank etc. I know others who have had a letter drafted up on their company letterhead but they still asked for pay stubs, etc in Jakarta.

The Jakarta embassy, as I recall, was relatively painless to work with.

Best of luck and godspeed! Hope that helps.
