which GPS to get?

hey everyone,

I'm thinkin of buying a GPS but not really sure wich one to get. does anyone knows good cheap one? I'm thinking of magellan 1412 and 4210 but i don't really know anything about them. can you please help me? which one is the best?

we have a TomTom and are quite happy with it.. we paid around 100 bucks for it..

the only thing is it doesn't say street names.. just tells you to turn right in 300 feet etc... so if that is important to you I would spend a little more and get one that says street names..

my hubby doesn't even use it with the sound on anyways....

I suggest you read cnet.com's review section. They also have a buying guide, I recommend it.

I think some GPS devices have gone overboard on features. Music player and picture viewer, do you really need that?

I have a small Garmin Nuvi, which i use just once and awhile, mostly when i need to go somewhere i never been before. Its handy to take on trips too when I need to rent a car.
