I NEVER RECEIVED THE NOA2 APPROVAL NOTICE IN THE MAIL

JUST THE EMAIL & A FEW DAYS LATER I RECEIVED A LETTER STATING THE NVC RECEIVED THE APPROVED I129F

I CONTACTED THE NVC & THEY TOLD ME THAT THIS HAS ALREADY BEEN RECEIVED IN DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

IM WORRIED BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE THE NOA2 DOC.

I WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO FILE A I-824

MY QUESTION IS DO I NEED TO PAY THE FEE ? ( THAT'S ALLOT OF MONEY )

DO I REALLY NEED TO HAVE THIS DOC. IN MY POWER

THANK YOU

Did you call and ask if they even sent it?

Sometimes they don't get sent out accidentally.

It could also be stuck somewhere in the local post office, or maybe the address you gave them was wrong by even a number.

Try contacting them about it.

Filed: AOS (pnd) Country: Thailand

Same thing happened to me. I called a few times and was always told that I had to pay the fee, there was no other way. I'm about to go through the AOS process now. I plan to send a print out and send the e-mail saying the petition was approved and a letter stating that the NOA2 never came, I tried to call, etc... and that is why I'm not including it in the AOS package. Some people have done this and it worked. If it doesn't work, I'll get an RFE then I'll pay the money. If it does work I saved 340 bucks.
