Approved!!!! Mine came in at 1am Saturday morning by email, saying it was approved on 12/18. Never got the text, even though I'm signed up. Sign up for both!

This is such a relief. A took a gamble by not taking VJ advice and didn't not have original signatures on it, because that would've delayed things. I had andrea sign with a heavy ink pen and use a high resolution scanner. It worked!

Anyone know what I should expect for the earliest interview date? About 6 weeks? 8 weeks?

Congrats to everyone else, and if you didn't received it and are still waiting, go directly to USCIS.gov and check.

I would check in the regional forum. My experience with reading about Bogota is that it is a tough embassy to deal with. The regional forum people can give you the specifics. Congrats on getting through this part of the journey!

Received notification that our application has been approved, NOA2 mailed Friday 18th Woohoo!!

Good end to a bad week, crashed car on Tuesday and went down with flu on Wednesday -- was beginning to think that would need to wait to new year for approval...

Seasons greetings to everyone at the CSC for making my christmas

Yes, that is correct. The last updated date will change and that's what people here refer to as a "touch"

Ours was Sept. 23 until the day it was approved.

oh i see... Thank u so much for the answer! =)

I seriously hope CSC remembers us and everyone else who hasn't received NOA2 yet kizza. We are all feeling pretty left behind I'm sure :( Fiance and I are getting pretty annoyed...like wanting to punch someone in face annoyed lol!;)

I was an elf for my B-day! Went and volunteered my time to help kids take pics with Santa at hotel downtown. Then went out for food and drinks after. So it was fun and I was at least distracted from my computer for a whole day. :star:

Thanks for the b-day wishes!

It is so amazing to see all those approvals last week. Congrats!!!! It's a weird feeling now for all those people who are still waiting for their NOA 2, I am kinda happy, because so many people got approved, I am so exited and have to look for new approvals several times a day, and I am concerned that CSC will slow down again and we will have to wait forever.

I especially wish those couples luck who filed their petition in the first 2 weeks of September.. you deserve getting approved before Christmas/ New Years!

Rosie, Im glad you didnt punch any kid, parent, or Santa in the face! lol

I hear you... Im not feeling angry but just utterly discouraged to see everybody approved around me on Igors list. Like Noradam said... makes you scared you'll be waiting forever. Still some hope that they'll keep cranking out NOA2s for a few days this coming week and will patch up some holes in the list. Cant wait for the weekend to be over! ;)

Good luck on finding distractions to all of us still waiting! Am I ever glad I kept most of my holiday shopping to the last minute now! :hehe:
