I was hoping we'd see more approvals from yesterday posted. I guess there is still time.

11/26/2012 - 10 year Green Card received today! WE ARE FINALLY DONE! :D

Yesterday Beverly changed her Facebook status read: "Got a touch!!!"

I didn't catch on and had to asked if she got an iTouch or if her sister was being a little frisky. :innocent:

Still not putting 2 and 2 together I went to the USCIS site (something I hadn't done in 3 weeks after obsessively checking for the previous 2 months) and read the following:

Post-Decision Activity

On December 15, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

The reason I'm posting this is that from the get-go our status always said that our case would be adjudicated between December 15th and December 18th. Now this could be just dumb luck that we actually made it within the exact window they stated, but if luck had nothing to do with it, I hope this is a positive message that everyone else will receive NOA2's within your own stated window!

Congratulations everyone! Very very exciting! things are really moving now!! Maybe they told the reviewers they needed to get to it or no holiday for them. *yeah wishful thinking*

all of this time and I have been real good not checking USCIS website more than once a day and I only check VJ once or twice a day but now after yesterday I have been on here like 8 or 10 times today and it is only 230pm!! I didnt realize how much I would be into this come on CSC we need more Sept approvels!!!!

Sept 24, 2009 NOA 1 Dated

Sept 27, 2009 NOA 1 received (Hardcopy)

Dec. 18, 2009 NOA 2 Dated(no email)

Dec. 24, 2009 NOA 2 Hardcopy

Dec. 28, 2009 NVC received but not sent to Embassy

I obsessed all day yesterday checking every hour and had nothing. I gave up after 5pm cause I figured the work day was over for them, and then got my approval notice email at 10:01pm so don't despair everyone. The day is not over, there is still time to get touched / approved.

The fact that the adjudicators could be taking files home to "approve" them just blows my mind but hey, Christmas is coming, take some files home CSC adjudicators and give the Sept. filers an awesome New Year's gift! Go CSC Go!

I don't think they take our files home, maybe the weird times are just when their system/database is finally updated. I may be mistaken, but I think I've read that somewhere on the forum. My fiance got the text at 1am.

I think you are right about the system updates, but it is also true that they can work from home.

I honestly dont care where they adjudicate my file, as long as I get an approval within then next few days! :P

I'm actually in Canada with my Fiance' right now, we were just sitting down to watch a movie when my phone received a txt. I looked at it, and lo and behold it said my case status was updated! Checked online, and NOA2! =)

So, wanted to share our joy, and hope everyone hears good news before the holidays!

02-10-09 : Met online

06-26-09 thru 07-06-09 : Went to Canada to visit her

07-06-09 thru 07-15-09 : Brought her back with me for visit

08-03-09 : Informally Proposed (She accepted!)

09-05-09 thru 09-13-09 : 2nd visit to Canada to visit and officially propose with ring. =)

09-18-09 : I-129f mailed... and now the waiting begins!

09-21-09 : I-129f delivered via USPS!

09-22-09 : NOA1

09-23-09 : Checked cleared from bank

09-28-09 : Hardcopy of NOA1 received

12-16-09 thru 01-03-10 : 3rd visit to Canada

12-17-09 : NOA2!!!

01-11-10 : NVC Received

03-03-10 : Medical interview

04-13-10 : Interview in Vancouver! (APPROVED!!!!!)

05-15-10 : Wedding day!
