Again, I feel the need the remind everyone that 2 approvals is simply those who are members here. We're still under the processing window of 5 months, so it doesn't help to get all upset over it.

Patience is a virtue, and stress is bad your health.

Right. And letting my anger out is healthier than bottling in.

The way Im doing the maths, being about 35 people behind the last person who got approved (on VJ), at 2 approvals a week, I still have to wait 17 weeks. Which is over 4 months. Get ready to hear some real ranting then.

I realise that there could be tons of people that arent on VJ getting approved at the moment, but do think that the VJ sample is fairly statistically representative of the population who has petitioned. Therefore, it would be a statistical aberation if, for 3 weeks in a row, the rate of approval at CSC was the same as usual (whatever that means), and it just happened that only VJers werent getting approved.

I realize there is probably a thousand applicants for the month of September and we're just a small percent of the total number.

but to me what's frustrating is that when VSC starting seeing NOA2's they just kept coming one after the other.. for us CSC people it's like oh we'll just give them one here and there to keep their hopes up.

Yes!

And when August got approved, over half of the month was approved in 10 days. It just frustrates me to know it is possible, it's just not happening.

my wife is at the embassy in manila now for her interview. we hope to have approval within a few hours!

Yeah I'm not trying to be rude here dude but the people participating in THIS thread are lucky to have even gotten an NOA2 sooooo if you want to tell people about your fiance having her interview this REALLY isn't the place to do it. While we are happy for you getting that far...we really don't care to hear about how far along in the process you are :) We are all super frustrated as you should have been able to see by the previous posts...we are concerned about our September NOA2 approvals not your wifes interview.

I hope you are right too.

Im happy to see at least one approval today, be it for a couple from June, but it is a sign of life at CSC, I'll take it.

Poor girl seems to think they are done with the process though... Erm... Might be in for a nasty surprise.

Honestly I don't think it's fair for you all to get so frustrated with those having interviews. We're all supposed to be here for support and for cheering on, not to get angry. We've still got a member without an NOA2 in our thread and is she angry? Heck no. She cheers everyone on equally. We cheer her on and wish her well every day. We're all a family.

Flame me if you want, but this is honestly not right for you alienate a member just because they are farther along than you.

He's a K3 petitioner, so he's in the wrong forum entirely.

Anyway... hopefully CSC is just focusing on other visa types right now, and there will be a surge of activity soon. Unfortunately, it worries me that Christmas and the end of the year are coming up. I worry that the federal employees at CSC have a ton of vacation time to burn by year's end, like a lot of places do. :P
