Do yourself a favor, read the books... they are well done, the movies, not so much...

Ummmm I would rather watch the movies have you seen the fellas they have in it? OMG! Although I'm sure one is young enough to put me in jail for thinking he's that hot but we'll pretend he's old enough....A few more years and I could be considered a cougar :)

ah-hahahaha!

I think they say a 9 year difference qualifies you as a cougar. Over 45 years old, or a nine year gap with the yound fellow. Ive looked into it! ha!

HAHAHAHA! Well I dont qualify with the over 45...not even in a few years but I'm sure there is at least a 9 year age difference between me and that Taylor Lauftner kid sooooo I can officially be a cougar. Ahhhh something I've been working towards for a while. Finally...it's happened :) I should have a drink to celebrate...oh wait...he's not old enough to drink I guess that's out!

That one approval was an I-130 (married).

I see now my timeline has backslid again to Dec. 21-Jan.3. Not long ago it was Dec. 5-15? It's slipped almost a month now. I can't imagine how much more it will slow down next week, the week of Christmas, and the week of New Year's if it still isn't approved by then.

FML stands for "F" my life. I dont know why it would show an I-130 on there. I didn't check the timeline either. There were 2 approvals for yesterday listed on there. At least it's something. My date has obviously changed quite a bit too but everyone just needs to keep in mind even if it takes till feb we are STILL within the guidelines of the processing time and as much as we like to think it will take less time than that we need to be sensible and know that it may take that long so no big deal.

The movie was good, although I would like to slit my wrists with a butter knife today because we didn't get home till 2.45 this morning and then of course I didn't fall asleep right away and had to be up at 6 for work...booooo! I'm drinkin diet pepsi like it's going out of style...caffiene is my friend :)

@ Frenzyheart, very happy for you that Matt made it without any issues! Enjoy your time together!!

FML... I like. I'm quite a fan of "F*** me" too. I find the term rather eloquent.

Sorry you feel like ####### today jiminney, at least it's Friday (presuming you work mon-fri) and your daughter probably thinks your the coolest.

I know we should be happy with anything under 5 months for a processing time, but I have to admit Im hoping it will turn up within 3. With the wait in Montreal, if we're approved in December, Id still easily be looking at a March interview. And it is totally feasible. Its not like there are months and months ahead of us.

Maybe they will do a big push before the Christmas/New Year holiday just to give a us happy holiday season....I would be more than happy to contribute to their "medical" marjuana fund if they would. Whatever it takes. I'm not below bribes :) I'm going to be having a holiday cookie/candy bake off with my friend on the 13th of December. We always go crazy and make a bunch of #######...I don't even like sweets that much, but I put them in fancy tins and give them as xmas gifts. Maybe I'll try that approach with the CSC...get my petition processed and you can have a tin of cookies!

As for my daughter thinking I'm the coolest...she better since I let her stay home from school this morning while I schlepped to work red/blurry eyed. I should have told her and John that I will be expecting dinner when I get home tonight, although I may not have a home left if I leave it up to those 2 to make dinner!

ohh and jkminney I'd love some fresh baked goods!!! LOL... maybe when we're all in the US we'll get together and have bake sales for the CSC medical marijuana fund.... we can help others who apply after us not have to go through the wait like we did... we'll just make all the adjusters high and give em a stamp that says approved and for every puff they have to approve one application...

seriously I think we could do some good in the world :P

Well I've got my list of things I need to pick up for my bakeathon but I didn't include hash for brownies. I am goofy enough without having to enlist the help of any drugs! I'll tell ya what you cross the border with the hash and I'll make the brownies HAHAHA! Good luck and don't be callin me to bail ya out because I'll say I'm sorry I have NO idea who that person is :)

Speaking of that...funny story...Johns dad bought a van off some fella years ago and unbeknownst to Johns dad the van was stolen. So he was pulled over and the police arrested him and they brought him to Johns house and basically said to John do you know this man? John responded No I've never seen him before in my life! HAHAHA! They took his dad to jail. My mom would have killed me!
