Timeline
Hi everyone,

we're quite new in this forum.. and I have to say it's wonderful how everyone helps each other. We filed our 129-F about 2 months ago. I really hope we will receive NOA 2 until christmas.

I've got one question: where can you see how many cases were approved at CSC per day?

Sorry, it might be a stupid question, but sometimes we're just overhelmed with all the information.

All the best for you

Adam & Nora

At the top of the page it says Immigration Timelines. If you click on that it will bring up a page and in BOLD print it says IGORS LIST. If you click on that it will tell you the last 15 people to be approved and if you scroll down further to whatever month you filed in you should find your name as long as you've filled in your timeline. Also on that page that says IGORS LIST to the left of that it will say view timeline and it will show your timeline and the approximate date that you should be approved based on the timelines of the people here on VJ.

Hope this helps and good luck to you!

Thanks! Now I got it :-)

Keep waiting though ..

I'm doing the math myself.

(Approved)/(All petitions)

Right now, 69,5% of August is approved... which means that if I'm right, they will be starting to work on us pretty much now

If you're interested in seeing more data, have you looked at pages like

View K1 Visas [ Advanced View ], under Visa Display Options, also in Immigration Timelines?

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list...?cfl=&op3=1

... or in your particular case,

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list...;op5=&cfl=0

You can set it to see the information that is most relevant for you, get info about the wait for the interview at your embassy etc.

I think Im forgetting something but Im a little sleepy :sleepy:

Timeline

My everyday ritual (sometimes several times a day), is to open firefox, google USCI and by that time the auto complete shows USCIS case status. I open it, and type in WA and by then the auto complete fills in our case number (this is why I use firefox for this, I got sick of copying and pasting it into IE every time). When I see that it's still on Pending, then i hit the home button back to google, and type in igor's l, by then the auto complete shows igor's list, I click on it and the first search result is Igor's List CSC. I click on that and take a peek at the approvals (or lack thereof). I check and see what number we're at (132 on that page as of today).

Some days (a few times a week typically) I go a step farther and click our name in the list, which opens our profile page on VisaJourney. Then I click "timeline" on the left sidebar. This gives me our estimated NOA2 date (currently Dec. 9-18 I think). Less frequently I will also click the "view similar timelines", which will show me the average length of time between NOA1 and NOA2 (I think it's 79 days now? or something).

I avoid opening the VSC September filers or the general September filers forum page, as it's just frustrating. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy they are getting such fast approvals, I just wish they would start pushing through a few more at CSC too!! I try to stay focused on the fact we thought our NOA2 would be 5 months when we started out, and if we're approved in December it's actually 3 months or under.

My birthday is Dec. 6, my future wife's is Dec. 21. We are hoping for our approval for a birthday present, or at least for a Christmas present.

I miss her so much!! Sure, we chat 3X a day typically online and usually can see each other in cam, but it's just not the same as kissing, holding hands, cuddling up together....

I know the wait will be worth it, and I keep focusing on the fact that once this wait is done, we're together and don't have to be apart again.

WHO IS GOING TO BE THE FIRST PERSON TO GET THEIR NOA2???????

this feels like a sick/cruel gameshow doesn't it?? some days 4 people are approved, and then some days not a single one.... it makes you want to scream!!!! So far I tell people who ask me "your immigrating to the US ohh that's going to be tough" I say nope, really the paper work is straight forward... it's the waiting thats killing me!!!!! stupid patience... not one of my strongest character traits....

oh well!!

Good luck to all of you, my fellow 09/09 filers!!!!! I hope we start seeing our NOA2's coming soon!!!!

Ok seriously??? Not one approval showing up since the 12th? What the hell is going on now? Everyday I'm checking this thing hoping SOMEONE has gotten approved. How is it possible that there hasn't been a single person at the CSC on VJ not approved in nearly a week?

Frustration is starting to kick in now! :protest:

Late last week, I was like 134.

Now I'm 137, cause, I am guessing, new people came and put new timelines in that moved me back. I quit checking the site very often since the initial week of NOA1 (it was better for my sanity), but now...

Usually, I am cool with this whole timeline thing, but as that little probable window gets closer, and the less we move at all (seriously, CSC? Nothing since the 12th? SRSLY?), I am starting to turn into those constant F5-ers (reloading the page).

Why are we not moving? >.<

Together: 10/10/2001 - current

The Process, Part 1

09/09/09 - I-129F sent certified mail express to CSC.

09/10/09 - I-129F received and signed for by INS Express Mail.

09/11/09 - NOA1 notice date.

Slower? looks more like at a standstill to me! :ranting:

Well, not that I don't want my NOA2 NOW, but at least we saw from August that once they start working on a particular month, they can practically go through it within 2 weeks. And we havent reached our predicted window yet.

So I'm trying to be zen about it... I'm confident it's coming very soon!!

They have to be working on some other types of visas. When you search for K3s and CR1s etc., they havent gotten approvals either. I even had a peek at VSC (I had stopped doing that a while ago), and they're not really getting approvals either.

Stay positive and let us know if you see touches!!! I say it's the calm before the storm.

I haven't been in any sort of rush to get the NOA2 but it's nice to know they are being processed even if what they are working on isn't mine :) Yesterday was the first day I had actually logged on to the USCIS website for quite a while. I had to put the password in twice (whoops i forgot what it was!) because it had been so long. I do think that our little window that we've been given may very well pass. I suppose for John and I it just means that he won't have to hold on to the packet 3 for as long as we thought. We are trying to plan the timing of the interview/approval with the fact he wants to get here shortly after the visa is approved but not too long before we plan on having the wedding. I'm telling ya for all the planning we are all having to do we deserve a big cookie!

HA! You have this little meditation/mantra thing going on! I'm sure it won't be long now before one of those nice people in their cubes have a box labled Kizza :) I just wish SOMEONE from Sept would get approved already. There will be a flurry of emails when it happens. I'm excited for whoever that first person is!

have any of you looked on the USCIS website lately? usually when I go on to check my status (ohhh 6-9 times a day :P) I always take a second to look at the number of applications under the "view national volumes and trends" link... it's weird they are showing no data for September of 09 (don't panic, I know they haven't lost our applications) it's showing 0's across the board which makes me wonder if they are pausing to do some house cleaning or something... clear up all the old files before they start processing new cases.... This is all conjuncture of course, I've got no clue... but if it's true I sure think they picked a terrible time to do it!! LOL

we'll get our NOA2's soon!!! (I hope!) I can't wait to marry my beautiful fiancee so they'd better hurry up, or they'll have one angry applicant on their hands!!!! LOL!! j/k....
