Well I just got back home after seeing my loved one in America... We had a request for further information while I was there and after they received it was was informed it could take up to 60 days for them to look at it again =(...

But that wasn't the worst part...

As I came to saying goodbye I did what most people did when it came to saying goodbye to their fiancee and burst into tears... I cried really hard for at least half an hour and my eyes where bright and well I looked like a wreck when it came to going through security... The officer looked I me, I had a tissue in hand and still wiping away tears... He said 'why are your eyes red? Have you been smoking weed?' I said no and explained I have just said goodbye to my fiance and I won't be seeing him again until I get my visa, which is well... God knows when... He pulled me a side and said I want to check your bag.. He swabbed my bag and my shoes and asked me a lot of questions and was talking to me like he suspected I was carrying drugs.. All that just for having red eyes due to crying!!!! Did he say sorry.. No he didn't!!

My advise is don't cry just hold it in or you may be accused of trying to smuggle weed out of the country!!

grrrrrrrrrrr :diablo:

Awww. :(

I remember the first time I went to visit my fiance in Vancouver. We delayed parting as long as we could by walking around the airport or stopping to get coffee, but finally I had to go through security to catch my flight back to school. At the time, I was 22, but even right now at 29, people mistake me for 18. So add in the fact that I was carrying this huge white teddy bear he had given me and bawling, the security personnel were trying hard not to laugh at YVR and one older woman thought I was really young and patted me on the head and said: It's ok. You'll be back, child.

At least that sort of made me laugh.

Together: 10/10/2001 - current

09/10/09 - I-129F received and signed for by INS Express Mail.
