RFE 129 (K3)

Hi, I just received an email from USCIS stating

On September 22, 2009, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once we receive the requested evidence or information and make a decision on the case, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

What should I do?

I'd included the following docs to begin with..

1) 129 Application

2) 1-797 NOA

3) Certificate of Naturalization

4) G-325A Petioner

5) G-325A Beneficiary

6) Passport pic Petitioner

7) Passport pic beneficiary

8) Marriage certificate

9) Proof of ongoing relationship( (2)Affidavits, Marriage pics, Honeymoon pics)

until you get the actual letter you do not know what they specifically want... in the mean time you can only wait

I called USCIS and talked to this lady at CSC. She said she doesn't have any additional information than what I am seeing and I will have to wait until I receive the letter..Isn't that strange! ..Here i lose another few weeks..

maybe strange but normal... the call center only sees what you see in the online system

We had an RFE as well, and we only lost 2 weeks total. All you can do now is wait

If you file it in conjunction with an I130, no. It becomes a K3 visa.

If you file it in conjunction with an I130, no. It becomes a K3 visa.

OK so that wasn't the problem then.
