Booyah, I get this all the time on VJ OT, even from some mods, it is so true what you point out. Agreed!

I agree that we should not be funding the education of non residents. But did you make this thread zqt so that you could get that jab in against Mexicans? We already knew that you were a little douchy, you trying to add racist to your resume too?

That argument is made against everyone who speaks up against illegal aliens in the US. I have never ever heard such nonsense regarding illegal aliens prior to coming here. The label racist must have some sort of magical power over here. It is also used to justify a hell of a lot of behavior that would not be tolerated anywhere else, including Europe as we see in ZQT's other thread.

Yes anchor babies now grown up and going to school in a taxpayer funded USA district, it is against the law for any resident of USA to go to school to a district without paying tuition if they do not reside in the public school district.

Why is it that every foreign illegal immigrant thinks that the USA taxpayers owe them a free ride and grant them entry into the USA freely without going through immigration like the rest of us, it just amazes me how criminal these people truly think! :innocent:

Did you even read the article? They are US citizens, not "foreign illegal immigrants".

The problem is residency, not citizenship.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials, students who use the bridge enter the U.S. legally because they are U.S. citizens, permanent residents with green cards or Mexicans with student visas. Those visas are used by Mexican students who pay tuition, primarily at parochial schools.

But for tuition-free public school attendance, state law requires students to live in the district — a rule that many officials don't rigidly enforce.

...

"Citizenship doesn't give you the right to attend school. Residency does," said Elena Castro, assistant superintendent at California's Calexico Unified School District.

It's fairly obvious BY, he didn't need to make the jab about Mexicans, nor do you need to refer to anchor babies. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck..... chances are it is a duck.

Come on.. In most illegal aliens oriented threads, the majority of rebuttals are usually you're against Mexicans or my favorite brown people rhetoric. Which is absolute nonsense but conveniently used to defend their own bias.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

You are here in VJ world now Booyah, where the norm is not accepted, and reality is never considered nor is the hard truth, only imagined feelings or claims of such. Just watch and see what I mean.

OT VJ seems to be the virtual world of forums. Not one of these 'critics' has actually addressed the issue the OP stated but instead done what they do best and scanned through every posts, identified the people they dislike, and used anything and everything to attack it. At the end of the day Rob and Mel cracked a direct insult at another poster, yet these guys have said nothing. Well one did sarcastically state, as an attack to the mods, I thought insults were eradicated from VJ. Had anyone of us posted the equivalent about their ugly looks, they would have reported it and cried murder. Until some people get a like and basically f--k off, people will not be able to have a open discussion on VJ.

Edit: The you're whining accusations should be posted any minute now..

True so very true, I never report anyone that posts, far as I am concerned it is freedom of speech on OT, that is why they are here, so let them say what they feel.

Exactly.. Now, regardless of someone's views, direct insults and attacks on a poster is not acceptable.

It also shows you're an idiot and having nothing of value to add to a discussion. Which leads to my previous post of why bother even posting and get a life. Plenty of people I disagree with here, however, I don't go tracking them down to rebut them.

Any news deemed not worthy of Pikey's attention, is baiting.

For those like us who pay our taxes and care about a country, yes this is freagin important.
