~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Update ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

here goes.. I wont EVER get to be with my Bingo ... never ever never never ever!.

Friday July 7th. the ISL embassy tried to issue the visa. and it Triggered not just ONE security check

but 4 of them byches. we already knows it takes 4 months + to clear a security check.

I guess we wont be togeather for the christmas holidays coz, 4 months from now is < nov>.

I did not tell Javed yet. this is gonna crush him. I know its crushing me.

but I am not gonna cry. not gonna cry noooo I cant cry..

I have contacted my congressman to get update from the embassy. they like alwats are failing

to respond. so she is resending an e mail to them..

Awwww....give the girl a break. I think I'd be doing more than posting twice if I were in her shoes. Shon, so sorry to hear this is happening. I pray everything is resolved for you soon.

yeah I had problems yesterday with vj I think I posted something like 6 times.... opps.... Shon I think all of us feel for you now...maybe it will not take the 4 months... lets pray for a quick response...

these kinds of situations do take more than praying... i know its meant well, but come on. someone needs to step up and make a decision in Shon's case. I know when i had our 8 months or so of AR, we went round & round with checks. it wasnt until i lost all my marbles and called EVERYONE. I am not talking about st00pid congressmen & senators while they can help in *certain* instances. I also do not believe this will be cleared up in a few weeks if no one intervenes. This is just rediculous.

Action is needed and google is your friend. I got my checks stopped and so can you.

your right... when I called the fellow he pushed it though thats why it cleared last week. when the embassy got ready to issue - it triggred 4 security checks. we been cleared 4 times. OCT, JAN, April, and brifely in July. I am just really sad. I think my husbands name keep looping in the system. I will make some phone calls and write letters this weekend.

OMG Shon, what a nightmare! I wish I had some words of advice, but I am dumb founded. Go have a good cry, eat a pint of ice cream and get back on the horse and kick their asses!

If "stoopid" congressmen aren't who she should call, then who? If I were in her shoes right now telling me to "google" wouldn't do me much good. Since you said you've been there... why not offer a little more information?

Citizenship Timeline

8/20/08 -------> Mailed N-400 to TSC

8/21/08 -------> N-400 rec'd by TSC @ 10:42 am signed for by C Maxa

8/26/08 -------> Check cashed

8/28/08 -------> Called USCIS was told biometrics scheduled for Sept 12 @ 3 pm

9/02/08 -------> Received NOA 1 showing receipt date as August 22, 2008

9/02/08 -------> Received bio appt by snail mail verifying scheduled date as 9/12 @ 3 pm

9/12/08 -------> Fingerprints taken

12/16/08------> Interview @ 10:05 am [PASSED]; OAth given at 2 pm

***MY HUSBAND IS NOW A USC***

12/29/08 -----> Filed for US passport book and passport card for my husband

01/08/09 -----> Rec'd US passport book in mail today; still waiting for card and return of natz cert

I didnt mean for it to appear to do her own research and she's on her own. I have chatted with her a number of times and provided her with information I know. None of its a secret, Im just saying better contacts are out there if you know where to look and who to apeal to. She knows I google, and I am pretty sure most others use it too ;) !

Let me clarify my comment about congressmen/senators. I feel they are a great help again, in some areas. Probably not much help in this one. Getting a canned response from anyone would tell you that you're not talking to the right people.

Shon, THIS JUST AINT RIGHT!!!!! It just broke my heart when I read this. What is wrong with those people? I wish I knew something or somebody that could help you. I hope it doesnt take to long.
