Sorry to hear you got a blue sheet.

We were issued a blue sheet for a timeline and relatives list also, the only things listed on the blue sheet. After 5 months in AP/AR our case was still sent back. Nothing is not a slam dunk when it comes to satisfying the HCMC Consulate.

Kevin, They got your case back at the consulate again yet?

Kevin - I'm confused with your case...did the Consulate send your case back to NVC again?? Can you update your timeline if it's not up to date--it'd be most helpful...

The window is small. think bank teller size...I'd recommend using paperclips or binder clips for ease of access--just in case they ask you to remove it. I read somewhere that you can use fastners, as long as it's the type that fastens at the top with the two hole punch...I don't remember where I read that at though...maybe a guideline to submitting documents from USCIS?!

That is the type I used.. two hole at top of page.. ACCO fasteners.. less than an inch thick for the thickest pkt and they are flexible.. (they bend)

Yea, you should be fine I think then. If not, you can always dissemble them...

Actually it is that easy for many. They asked for this and a list of relatives from us and we did so and even went in before the date and got the pink at that time. I said that was what happen to US and we got the pink. I think I am allowed to post MY experiences as OTHERS are allowed to post.

Wow...so you've been at this for quite some time...

Maybe you should just flat out ask if they've banned your wife from the US so you can stop wasting your money on a lost cause if that's the case... :P I wished we could just ask and get a straight response, but I'm sure they're afraid someone will go postal on them one day... :P

Sorry to hear about the blue. We were in the same boat, they wanted a few other things, and we turned them in early and it still did not help. We got a second blue as well. Binh also had the things that they wanted all but a list of her relatives and they refused to look at that information as well. Just stay positive, hopefully when you turn in your evidence you will be like luckytxn and not the countless others that gets a second blue.

Good luck!

Not yet. :( I think it takes about a month for the Service Center to send cases to the NVC. It shouldn't stay there too long before they pass it off to the Consulate.

Call them to check... it may be at the consulate by now... Could not hurt to call and ask... Some take a few days to get to NVC

And then I see you got it Kevin  ... Great news!!!

Thanks for the replies everyone. The CO asked a few questions, looked at some photos and emails. Then gave her all the documents she had brought back to her except her ds230 and her visa photos. The VNese translator told her not to worry just bring in a timeline. She said the interview was about 10 minutes.

Again thanks everyone, your input and experiences are helpful. Will let you know what happens after she delivers the timeline. By the way, has anyone bought in their Blue slip evidence earlier than the date they were told to bring them?

Yes. As I posted before my fiancee went in about a week later and turned in a timeline and list of relatives and got the pink right away. Back then it wasn't just us that this happened to and many had went in early and got the pink that same day. Them just asking for a timeline and keeping the form and passport pics are a good thing. Just do a updated timeline with a new date and get it notarized (My bank did it for free and most should but don't sign it till you get there in front of the one doing the notary) send it to your babe as fast as possible and go get that pink.
