marrying after visa approval

Ok, so once the fiance visa is approved by the consulate (in this case in Suva, Fiji), is it possible to just get married there in Fiji or is it a must to come back to the USA and marry here?

If you get married in Fiji (or anywhere but the USA) then your fiancé won't be your fiancé any more, they would be your spouse and you didn't get a spousal visa.

if u get married before ur s/o comes to the usa even if they have the k1 visa it is no longer a valid visa as ur s/o is no longer ur fiance and u will have to reapply for marraige visa, using that k1 visa if ur already married before reaching the usa is fraud

if u get married before ur s/o comes to the usa even if they have the k1 visa it is no longer a valid visa as ur s/o is no longer ur fiance and u will have to reapply for marraige visa, using that k1 visa if ur already married before reaching the usa is fraud

if you really want a fiji wedding why not do a mock wedding? i know someone who passed their K-1 visa but they wanted to have a wwedding in the philippines before she left so they did a mock wedding, they just wanted the priest's blessing in the church but they ddnt have to register the so-called wedding since it was done just for tradition

Just for clarity, I wish to add that the country that grants the K1 visa IS the USA. They do it IN the country in which the beneficiary resides.
