Where is the sportsmanship? Where is the friendly rivalry and one-upmanship? Where are the friendly disagreements these days?

And why does everyone, on both sides, when they know they're losing the argument, try to shoot the messenger?

I agree. The Col. needs to swing more to the conservative side, his liberal bias is clear and he is not a good journalist. I have such a difficult time making up my own mind when all I see from him is liberal bias.

Did the sonic boom hurt your ears as that flew over your head? Danno is biased. The Col. is biased. What difference does the example of bias make? I am not afraid to read liberal bias and I am not afraid to read conservative bias and I can make up my own mind. Neither the Col. nor Danno is under any obligation to say anything other than what THEY want. Shall we have regulation requiring the Col. to balance his posts and Danno also? #######???? Yes, if the Col. posts something he cannot post again until Danno does. I am sure Cap'n Ewok can think of a way to regulate the posts. It will make the OT forum so much more interesting. I know, we can call it the "Fairness Doctrine"

But whatever we do, we need to let Private Pike continue speaking freely for the liberals.

Of course both Danno & Bat are free to exercise their respective freedoms of speech. The problem is that a large number of VJ OT regs only see one side of the issue at hand & are incapable of seeing the opposing side of view. I guess in the absence of an objective point of view the next best thing is two biased/opposing points of view.

The fact that some, nay or all VJ OT posters see only one side (if that is what they choose to see) is NOT a problem. I have NO PROBLEM with Col. Batsh1t seeing only what he wants to see, same for Danno, it is NOT a problem for people to make their own opinions on whatever they choose to make them on. I have no illusions I will change the Col.'s mind or Danno's. I really have no illusions this is anything but entertainment but maybe it will change the mind of someone who is open minded, but they have no obligation to be open minded. There are no "problems" here. Just people speaking freely and that is NOT a problem.

Who cares. The center is for cowards. Read, study and take a position. Or stand in the middle and be a spectator. I do not believe in the center. Nor do I always believe in staying right or staying left.

I agree 100% with Simpson... I associate being a moderate with being rational & balanced, not weak. Just because someone with centrist views isn't jumping up & down and screaming their views & ignoring other points of view does NOT mean that they are not taking a position. As for the "sonic boom" I understand perfectly what you are saying G&A, I just disagree with you (OMFG a moderate has a point of view).
