How many of you actually used your AP

That is awesome, Sapphire! I totally agree with Jill. Using the AP is a process-pain only. I'm so glad you don't have to spend your first Thanksgiving in the US. It's too sad.

I've been here since February, my family was down in March for the wedding and that's it. We can't afford to get home until sometime after Christmas. Not only no money, but work is impossible to get off from now until after new years. I envy all you guys who can travel home. This is the longest in my life I've been away from my family and it pretty much sucks horribly.

Oh well I guess..

Hang in there hun. I know what you mean about being away. I hate being away from my family too. The sacrifices we make are really difficult, but in the end it's all worth it and I'm sure you agree too. Sending you hugs Jenni.

Saphire....glad you got time to go back home....I was paranoid about the AP thing too! I got back on Monday with no issues. I worried cause my GC was at home waiting for me, and I thought they would see that in the computer and give me issues.

Hopefully you do get your GC soon....it's weird how there really is no method to approvals and some people wait longer than others...i'm sure you will have it well before Christmas.

Haha. My GC was waiting for me at home on one of my trips using the AP too. That was the time the CBP made me miss my flight because they forgot I was there. I should have had my husband courier me the GC instead. Yeah. Good times.
