i wrote barack Obama a letter for us....

:D

I saw! I don't think he'll understand the french bit...no offense. I had the nicest guy when I called NVC the other day, he was so nice and helpful. But they keep telling us to expedite, and I said, NO POINT K. STOP ASKING. What's the point of getting a VISA asap when your husband is away from the USA for another 7 months anyway.

Sorry, had to vent, sadkldnmaskjd.

Maybe they saw your letter because I got an interview today! I called and they told me that the interview letter will be e-mailed to me in the next couple of days!

Congrats

@bern...

Dear Barack Obama...

I know you're busy with your new dog and the kids and stuff... OH, you might have some ####### to do with the world's most powerful nation but... I was wondering do you think you could go check in on your consulate in Montreal, Canada?

See, my husband and I have been waiting yonks for an interview and I'm really eager to get to your fair country and imbue a lot of Canadian bacon into your beans and franks way of life, you know? I feel that you'll appreciate my je ne sais quoi and the quirky way I say 'eh' and such. So, if you could just ask Michelle to give you an afternoon off, could you come to Montreal and kick some butt? I would repay you by making sure you had the best poutine EVER and we could get drunk at the old Peel Pub on Peel street, okay?

Great,

Your buddy, eh...

LGG...

Tabernac!!!!!!

Classic!! Master piece. I see S.S. agents approaching your front door, pretty silver cuffs being removed from their cases............

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Hey Beth/Paris, What's the latest... You heard anything about the interview????

Well Paris has out CR1 file already. Still planning on Nov 17 interview, and fingers crossed for a earlier one. Should hear next week.

Hubby this they will extend for 2 weeks for sure, I sent him interview letter, I translated into French, and also sent his medical instructions from the embassy so French immigration can see the official information themselves. Fingers crossed.

Any word on interview for you Hon? Have you called NVC? That is how I found out, random call.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Good, I am soooo glad that they can at least extend his visa so you can get everything done!!! Although an earlier date would be better!!!

Nothin for me yet, I call in the morning and night just in case  my husband also wrote Naples consulate to let them know that we are available for the soonest date they may have (like DUH, but figured it would not hurt to throw our names in the mix) but they said they have not received anything about us yet??? I'll keep checking...

I know what you mean lgg, even though we have a damn interview date, I dont know if he will be able to attend it, UGH!!!

The embassy said as soon as they get our CR1 they will see if they can give us a earlier date, I THINK they just got CR1 today, but I was told to call NVC today to see if they sent it to Paris per my phone call to NVC last week.

Never a damn minute to breath in this process, UGH!! sorry had a crappy weekend, and slept very little last night.

Truly happy!!!

Well, it is what it is. I mean they ARE working and we DO have less of a chance of being put into AP or something stupid after the interview, right?

Trying really hard to remain optimistic. WHy won't you be able to attend it? I'm sure work will be MORE than unerstanding....

It just sucks that NOW they've slowed down -- people had been waiting 80-90 days before me and now we're waiting 120-150 for an interview...

Whatever...

I am gettin a litle down today, I know that others (Canada) have been waitin for sooo long for appointments, but I called today and nothing for us... I did not think that Italy would take so long...

Ya know, it is so funny, my husband and I have been married for 6 years and seperation never really bothered me and we were always coming and going... For the longest I never even thought that he would come live here... But now that we KNOW that he will and that it is literally just months away... we are so anxious and every day seems like an eternity... I suppose that it is because for the first time in 9 years, someone else is dictating that we cannot be together!!! Strange Huh???
