Wow! Paris, you got an interview! Tons of you did -- congratulations.

We Canadians are still sitting here with nothing.

I cannot tell you how awful this is. We can't go ahead and buy cheap flights, we can't plan anything, we can't do anything because we do NOT know the date. I don't care if it's a wait, I just want to know when. We're missing seat sales galore, I can't plan a single damn thing.

The Consulate in Montreal SUCKS!!!

But congratulations to all you guys...

HEY lgg, thank you for the congrats. I sure hope you get interview assigned soon. May I ask, when was last time you called NVC? I dont think it is fair at all what you all go thru and the waiting is un-called for. They need a hell of a lot more help there. My prays are with you!!!

They probably don't care about us Canucks that much because we're so close to the border. Or something. It's such a pain..imagine having an interview in MTL when tickets are in the thousands. I really hope that doesn't happen...it's scary.

AND CONGRATS BETH. <3

Im so happppppppppy.

You totally deserve it. :)

received this 2nd email from Paris just now!! i think I need to call NVC and have them forward files NOW. I was told they had the K3 since Sept. 18th by NVC and Dept of State, HUM?????

Dear Madam,

Do not worry we keep an eye for the November files coming and we shall inform you as soon as we receive them whether an opening in the beginning of November is possible for your spouse’s immigrant visa interview prior to the expiration of his “titre de sejour” in case it cannot be extended for a few weeks.

Sincerely,

Good that they responded, Bad that NVC lied about it.

On another note I just found it my case was shipped off on Sept 29 to India. I need to find out how to track. If anyone knows off the top of their head please let me know. Im going to go look through old threads and see where it was posted.

I hear that, lgg. I've told my wife that if I don't get a November interview, I'm going to come down for a week anyways to visit. They can go to hell if they don't like that! I've got a Nexus card, I've got a job here, I've got bills here, I've got a car loan here, what more would they want? I haven't seen her in person since January, and I miss her. My daughter hasn't even met me in person yet because of the wait (she sees me on webcam though). I've been down a number of times since the USCIS and NVC have been hacking away at my case, so hopefully I won't need to schedule a week off of my current job to go down if they get my interview set up for November.
