When I was 16 I was charged with possession of marijuana, then when I was an adult I was charged for a DUI but the charges were dropped and this is not on my record. I'm worried about the charge when I was a juvy, will I have to get a waiver for the charge when I was 16? I really don't no how this works or will affect my approval. Please help thanks

I-751 mailed 6/30/09 aapproved 11/7/09 The BOYS I-751 Mailed 12/29/09 3/23/10 Email approval for 17 CR 3/27/10
4/14/10 Email approval for 13 yr Old CR 4/23/10

Oldest son now 21 I-130 filed by LPR dad ( as per NVC CSPA is applying here )
I-130 approved 2/24
Priority date 12/6/2007
4/6/2010 letter from NVC arrives to son dated 3/4/2010
5/4/10 received AOS and DS3032 via email
9/22/10 Interview BOG Passed
10/3/10 POE JFK all went well
11/11/10 GC Received smile.png

If it shows up on your police cert then yes, you will have to apply for a drugs waiver. They can be difficult to get but not impossible, especially if it was a one time thing a long time ago (how old are you now?). They usually involve a meeting with a psychiatrist after your medical (which will involve a drug test) who will talk to you, determine if you are a habitual user etc. Did you have to do any rehabilitation as part of your conviction? If so, have documentation of that ready.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
