I paid the IV fee using a cashier’s check, and payment has been reflected online (NVC Website) – Payment Status says “PAID”. Payment status was updated on 9/18/2009.

Now,

1). do I (agent) have to wait for any e-mail/mail from NVC or should I make my own bar code and send the DS-230 package (IV package) to NVC right away?

2). Let’s say I don’t make my own bar code for sending the package, what would be the procedure and how long would this typically take?

Thank You All!!

The barcoded cover page should be available to print from the website once the status says 'PAID'. Have you checked for a link there?

There is no barcode to print for IV Package. However, I came across this link (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=6710) and created my own barcorded cover sheet. I got the link off this page: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...#39;s_Shortcuts. Anybody out there used this?

I paid by money order and was never able to print the barcode from the website.

I called and made sure they generated the packages ASAP.

Thanks Malrothien! So far, I think your suggestion (calling NVC to request them to generate package) is what I have that's reliable unless I hear from other folks.

Answers to Questions I posted above:

1). If you send payment (IV) by check, you'll need to wait for NVC to generate the cover page/Instruction packet for you. NVC sends this to the Agent's e-mail address. I had to use this method of payment because the system kept "Rejecting" my paymnet (I may have made payment too soon).

2). The following is the timeline:

2009-09-15 : OLP IV Agent Letter/IV Bill generated Again

2009-09-16 : IV Bill Payment Rejected (error msg:System is down, try again later)

2009-09-16 : IV fee bill paid by Cashier's Check(Fee: $400.00)

2009-09-17 : IV fee Check delivered: Tracked

2009-09-18 : IV Bill shows PAID online

2009-09-22 : Instruction packet agent sent to agent via e-mail

2009-09-23 : IV Bill package sent (USPS Express Mail)

Thanks to Malrothien and imaisha for your feedback...
