I'm surprised Switzerland didn't make the list!

I was just going to say that. And how the hell did Slovenia make the list?

My thoughts EXACTLY! Slovenia? No Switzerland? Otherwise, sounds about right according to my limited knowledge.

Yes, but it is safe as far as violent crime and likelihood of terrorist attack. I think level of violence is the primary thing they were measuring for.

I'd take a terrorist attack over a catastrophic financial collapse of the entire country any time.

Um, so where are you living right now?

4. Iceland

Iceland went bankrupt in 2008 and had to be rescued by the IMF. Its stock market index was down 93%

in króna terms and 96% in Euro terms.

Guess it wasn't all that "safe" from financial disaster.

And you neglected to mention that the Iceland Krona was then essentially banned from use outside of Iceland. The world then no longer recognized it as a legitimate currency to trade or accept!

I totally thought Australia would have made the list!

I don't think I've ever seen a moderator bait another user on VJ before. There's a first time for everything, I guess

Have to watch for those mosquitoes in the Canada that is north of me, they will eat you alive. Wonder who taught them that, most have never seen a human before.

If you want to travel even a few miles north of Lake Superior, bring you chain saw and plenty of gas. Trees are super thick, can't even walk through them.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Don't tell me you actually think Bin Laden attacked because he is jealous of the US.

His family could buy the mid-west.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Canada is also considered a more probable target for a terrorist attack based on the nation's participation in the War in Afghanistan and strong ties with the United States and Great Britain.

It's not true, it is simply moronic.

Use your brain and ask yourself why that is.

Yeah yeah yeah I have heard it a million times from you, were big bad and evil. Regardless of his reasons there is no way you can justify them. Osama's reasoning is whacked and to try to prove some sort of point by addressing your statement you just made will only make you look bad so it might be a good idea to drop it.
