Is anyone else waiting for the Interview after the case completion at NVC...

Trying to keep this post on the first page only.

05/03/2005 NOA1 for I-130 CR1

10/28/2005 NOA2

NVC Timeline

11/15/2005 - NVC case number assigned

01/04/2006 - NVC completed the case... ( 50 days)

01/11/2006 Case sent to Embassy

01/16/2006 Case deliverd to Embassy as per DHL tracking

February 7th, 2006 Found out Interview date by Calling DOS (202-663-1225)

February 13, 2006 - Packet 4 received

March 21st, 2006 - Medical

March 23rd, 2006 - Interview --- VISA APPROVED

March 24th - Passport received. ( Applicant picked up passport from Courier/delivery service office)

April 7th - Hubby's POE at Chicago.

April 10th - Trip to SSA Local office to apply for Social Security Card.

April 27th - 1st Welcome letter

May 1st - 2nd Welcome letter

May5th - Received Social Security card in mail

May 11th - Received Green Card in mail

196 Days @ USCIS ( 178 for NOA2 + 18 case transfer at NVC)

50 Days @ NVC to complete the case

13 Days @ case transfer at embassy

65 Days @ Embassy

Total -324 days from NOA1 to Visa approval

Reunited and it feels so good ....

NOA #1 - March 23rd, 2004

Interview- May 18th, 2006 (Success !)

Arrived in the US - May 27, 2006 (our IR-1 visa journey was 2 years and 2 months long)

Wedding - June 17th, 2006

It's a Girl ! Baby Hana's expected due date - March 30th, 2007

Hi everyone.

I feel that this thread is a lucky thread. Look at all those interview schedules on this thread.

I just have a question to those that got their interview schedules already: Did the beneficiary received the intervioew packet yet? Will petitioner get any notification also?

In my case, my husband is out of the country where his interview is scheduled (we went on vacation to the Philippines). We sent an email to the embassy but they said that they don't have his files yet. Now, my husband is not able to check for any mails & we are getting nervous.

It's February 28 already. The beginning of the so-called "TIME OF THE MONTH" when interviews are being set for the next month. I wish everyone the best who are waiting for their schedules. Good luck to each one of us! :star:

07.05.05 - Submitted form I-130 at USCIS in Germany

12.09.05 - CASE COMPLETED

March 27, 2006 - INTERVIEW!!!

PUT On AR (Cenomar thing!)

April 26 - VISA ISSUED

April 28, 2006 - VISA DELIVERED!!!

May 7 - FLY TO THE US! YEHEY!

Hi everyone.

I feel that this thread is a lucky thread. Look at all those interview schedules on this thread.

I just have a question to those that got their interview schedules already: Did the beneficiary received the intervioew packet yet? Will petitioner get any notification also?

Hi Kimjoshian,

In our case, my husband ( beneficiary) received the interview letter on February 13th. As a petitioner i did not receive any notification.

Have you tried calling the Department of State? 1-202-663-1225. Ask them if they can send you a copy.

I will call the number you gave. Right now, they are still closed.

Did the appointment letter that you husband received came from NVC or embassy?

Thanks for any info & goodluck on your hubby's interview. I think you guys are busy preparing the documents to bring & the medical.

Hi Kimjoshian,

We got the interview letter from embassy, since the embassy schedules the interview for us.

Yeah, I send all the necessary docs to my husband, and he already has the police certificate. He also scheduled the Medical on 21st. However, I have not filled my taxes yet. Hopefully, CO will not ask for 2005 tax returns.
