My case was forwarded to the consulate yesterday (2/6/06). As NVC won't be open for another hour or so, I'll get back to you later with the interview date.

05/03/2005 NOA1 for I-130 CR1

10/28/2005 NOA2

NVC Timeline

11/15/2005 - NVC case number assigned

01/04/2006 - NVC completed the case... ( 50 days)

01/11/2006 Case sent to Embassy

01/16/2006 Case deliverd to Embassy as per DHL tracking

February 7th, 2006 Found out Interview date by Calling DOS (202-663-1225)

February 13, 2006 - Packet 4 received

March 21st, 2006 - Medical

March 23rd, 2006 - Interview --- VISA APPROVED

March 24th - Passport received. ( Applicant picked up passport from Courier/delivery service office)

April 7th - Hubby's POE at Chicago.

April 10th - Trip to SSA Local office to apply for Social Security Card.

April 27th - 1st Welcome letter

May 1st - 2nd Welcome letter

May5th - Received Social Security card in mail

May 11th - Received Green Card in mail

196 Days @ USCIS ( 178 for NOA2 + 18 case transfer at NVC)

50 Days @ NVC to complete the case

13 Days @ case transfer at embassy

65 Days @ Embassy

Total -324 days from NOA1 to Visa approval

Married August 21 2004 in Nova Scotia!

October 19/04 sent I-130.

April 17/08 finally arrive back in New Orleans after 3 years and 8 months.

May 19/08 Perm Resident Card arrives.

July 24/08 Reapply for a new SS card with married name.

August 4/08 Baby daughter born.

Congratulations everyone!! They told me yesterday they were done scheduling already for everyone. That they finished early. But I dont really believe them it just seems really to early. This month began in the middle of a week so they havent even been opened a full week to schedule interviews yet. I think Ill call back next week Monday or Tuesday and pray for good news. I feel bad complaining I havent waitd that long but I cant take not seeing my husband in so long.

how did you learn your petition has been sent to the embassy?

the NVC automated voice response I get still remains unchanged.

TIMELINE (Married 9 yrs)

Aug 18, 2005 - Mailed I-130 (wife & kids') to VSC

Aug 29, 2005 - NOA-1 for I-130's received

Sep 13, 2005 - I-130's approved, petition forwarded to NVC

Oct 10, 2005 - I-864 Bill received by agent

Oct 12, 2005 - Paid I-864 Bill by Postal Money Order-$70 for whole family

Dec 17, 2005- checklist for I-864 received, reply sent back & entered into system on Dec 22.

Oct 20, 2005 - Alien spouse received DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) documents

Oct 24,2005 - DS-3032 sent to NVC (fr Phils)

Nov 17, 2005 - IV Fee Bill paid by Money Order & sent

Jan 3, 2006 - Mailed DS-230 to NVC

Jan 4, 2006 - DS-230 entered into system

Jan 12, 2006 - CASE COMPLETED, and still waiting!!!

Aug 3, 2006- schedule of interview at US Embassy-Manila. Won't be showing up.

K3/K4

Aug 30, 2005 - Mailed I-129F to Chicago(wife's)

Sep 10, 2005 - NOA-1 for I-129F

Oct 19, 2005 - I-129F Approved (email notice), received mail Oct. 28

Nov 2, 2005- Received K3 approval notice

Mar 24, 2006 - K3 interview

Apr 4, 2006 - Visas in hand

May 8, 2006 - arrived in America

AOS

August 2006 - mailed I-485 forms

September 2006 - Biometrics done

December 2006 - Interview; Green Card received by mail a week later

2007: Applied for kids' certificate of citizenship, got the certificates in June & passports in August 2007

In my case, the embassy schedules the interviews. I called the state Department and found out that they recently scheduled the interview.

I called the NVC automated message last night - nothing changed and then called at 7 this morning and it said it was sent off to the post yesterday. So, once NVC opened, I called and spoke w/ operator to get the interview date.

1/29/2005 Received AOS Fee Bill

2/08/2005 Daughter Born (Angelle) in Manila

2/25/2005 NVC Generated IV Fee Bill

4/01/2005 Received IV Fee payment Back

4/05/2005 Gone to Manila to Register baby as US Citizen

5/14/2005 fee bill accepted
