We recently had case complete, and our case will hopefully be transferring to London. I have two small questions.

Firstly, how do we find out when our case leaves NVC, and when it arrives at London?

How do i pester the life out of London in order to get my interview date?

I remember there was a big discussion about this on the old UK spouse thread, which seems to have been swallowed up on the forum update, but maybe someone could summarise?

you can find out when NVC sends your case to London by calling the automated line & also the NVC will send a letter to the USC, once you know its gone, give London a week or 2 then start to email them on a regular basis, thats how i found out my interview date, its normaly within 2 months from case complete to actual interview date.

Hey amanda, how's it going? It has been a while. Once we got the NOA2, i kind of stopped coming on here, as i was using James's shortcuts, and trying to get through the NVC stuff quickly. I managed this in about 2 months, not bad, since both of us are here in the UK, but then we got an RFE for one thing, proof of our co-sponsors US citizenship, and i was like grrrrrrrrrr. I couldn't believe I had forgotten to put it in with the affadavit packet!

Anyway, we were waiting for the letter, or more importantly, our parents in the states were, but it never arrived. Finally after 3 weeks, we recieved the copy letter here in the UK, and then subsequently discovered that NVC had entered our american address wrong!!!!! :angry:

We would love to have an early interview, Brittany's visa for the UK runs out on June 28th, and to renew it is £355! And she doesn't want to leave til after the interview and the visa is in hand, so its all a bit up in the air right now!

Oh, Lorelle, that was the thread i was looking for. You girls are so helpful!! :thumbs:

wow konfuz.......487 days to get the interview date from the date you received the case number at NVC. What a relief for you that you now finally have an interview......woohoo.......Congrats.
