Hello guys

this is my first time to post here ..It has been very helpful getting into this website and reading about other's experinces ..I thought I am the only one is suffering in this world since I miss my hubby alot and i am tired of the visa process thing and i wished if my husband wasn't and American ..

today early morning we have got an email from USCIS telling us that our case was approved of the I-130 and they sent us NO2 that's is amazing because today is my birthday what a nice thing to hear in my birthday but I am lost we are going through the visa process with no lawyer and I really don't know what is next I would like to know what is next and what ever i may read here I still feel lost I really don't know what we should do ?? Please tell me I need your help and support I am always worried because this visa thing ..i am afraid of anything wrong to happen and afarid it may take long I justwanna be with my husband and my soulmate ..

It's really hard to live away from the one you love most ..

Do the NVC amend their auto telephone response when they send the file to the consulate? I am wondering how we hear the file has arrived in London?

Congratulations! Check out the NVC-forum for more info, in particular the guides right on top of the forum. There's a thread on time savers for the NVC (check aussiewench's sig for links) which includes a link to a number of short cuts. Good luck!

just wanted to give you quick update on my situation. I had the medical exam and interview at the US Consulate in Naples (Italy) on April 3/4 and was granted the Visa (199 days from initial filing)

Hi and welcome to VJ. We all know how you are feeling *hugs* and you couldnt of come to a better site for support and information.

If you dont know your NVC case number yet you can use your service center receipt number from your NOA to find out what it is. Go to the link in my signature for 'NVC timesavers'. The first post has instructions included for finding out your case number using the NVC automated system. Lots of other info and instructions in the thread on saving time through the NVC process. The link to the NVC Flowchart is also there but can be found at the top of each page under the Guides Tab. This will show you the two paths of the NVC processing.....the petitioner's and the beneficiary's. When and if you make the USC petitioner the 'Choice of Agent' these paths whilst seperate do somewhat merge but it will give you an indication of each step re form and bill generation from NVC. If you have any specific questions just post them in the main CR-1 forum and we will all do our best to assist you in this process.

i ahve another question what is meant by "agent of choice " I am really lost

Choice of agent means that the NVC sends you a form and you need to choose a person that will recieve anything the NVC sends. They often suggest to use a US citizen. I used my husband. That way the NVC sent me nothing, it all was sent to him, and since it was not mailed internationally, it arrived at his door faster.
