On the instruction form for I-130 it states below to

Please read these instructions carefully to properly complete this form. If you need more space to complete an answer, use a separate sheet(s) of paper. Write your name and Alien Registration Number (A #), if any, at the top of each sheet of paper and indicate the part and number of the item to which the answer refers. If you do not follow the instructions, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) may have to return your petition, which may delay final action.

Now, I am a naturalized US Citizen. Do I put my Naturalization certifcate number or my previous Green Card A#?

Im confused. Please help.

It refers to the beneficiary's A# so that if the sheets become separated from the file they can be sorted properly.

Ok, so it is the Alien # not the Naturalization certifcate #? I hate how they worded it out, its not very clear. Im getting conflicting information about this.

Someone told me it should be the A# (the # found on a green card) while another advised it should be the # on my Naturalization certificate. I sent my form i-130 writing my name and the A# (Green Card) as advised. I hope I dont get an RFE over this :(

Green Card Alien registration number is same as your Naturalization certificate. You only get one number just like your SSN

When i got mine it was same. I even have a receipt number when i first applied they give back in 2001. It's the same number on the receipt, same number on the GC and same number on the Naturalization paper. There is also a Naturalization number which is different than A# but we are not talking about that here.
