worried why EAD takes so long

I am worried why my EAD takes so long. I want to work already. I sent my RFE last week last week of August and they emailed me saying they got my RFE last SEpt 3rd. Do you guys know how long does it take or how long should I wait still?

Not including any RFE delay-time, EAD typically takes between 30 and 90 days.

it becomes a case to case basis...depends on whethey they're satisfied with what you submitted for your RFE, whether they need more docs (hopefully not), whethey or not they get back to processing your application right away...don't worry though, EADs are approved usually way earlier than your GC (which takes around 3 months on average)

By law, USCIS must grant your EAD within 90 days of filing a completed application (in your case, Sept. 3). The green card will take 3-4 months longer.
