Why are others that filed AFTER our I 130 and I29f being approved first?

We filed in June yet we have heard nothing since receiving our NOA 1 for both I130 and I129f,

Why are all these others getting notified, approved, from applications AFTER ours? Congrats to all of them but what gives, I have received nothing, not even updates on our case...nothing...

Anyone have any info regarding this?

The customer service lines are not helpful nor have any information, nothing...almost 5 months not a word about our case,

This system is broken and needs to be fixed. To wait for your spouse this long is not humane...it is wrong.

I would ask anyone from congress that loves his or her wife to go without a hug or kiss, or not seeing their spouse for 5 and 6 months, and hold over their head that you may never get to touch them...this system is absurd.

Thank you for any info and thank you for listening to my short rant,

God I miss my wife so much...when will this end?

It's the trillion dollar question. I would love to get a look into the building where these things are processed. I somehow imagine a huge room with tons of desks all lined up. On the desks are stacks and stacks of applications. Some workers are moving through the stacks quickly. Others aren't. It's the only explanation I can come up with for why some later petitions are approved first.

I know you're frustrated. Who wouldn't be in this situation? But it seems like just when you're ready to tear your hair out, your NOA2 comes in.

Try to hang in there.

Our NOA2 for the I-129F came 94 days from the NOA1.

I know the wait is hard...it has been hard on us also. You should hear from them soon!

Not sure why this is posted in the Adjustment of Status forum. But, a previous USCIS employee stated that the petitions are never ending as JustJulie suggested. The adjudicators allocated time is one hour to process each petition, so figure an average of eight approvals per adjudicator per day.

Some people get approved in 3 months and others wait two years. There is not much you can do until you are beyond the USCIS processing time. Even then all you can do is contact your Senator, Congressman, or ombudsman.
