I've read and read but no one (that I've found) has said how they bundled all the info. I read ACCO fasteners are a "yes" then "no". I was just hoping to get some ideas from you all about the best way to package all this. How did you present all your evidence? Did you place all your boarding passes on the copier and make pages of photocopies for those as well as receipts, etc.? Thanks everyone!! I'm hoping to get if filed as soon as we get the Cert of Marriage back from NSO (advance electronic).

I used large paper clips to bundle the I-130. The check was attached to the top left of the I-130. The passport pictures were put in plastic bags and clipped to their appropriate G-325, etc. I also used a certified copy of the local civil registry marriage certificate to send in. The NSO copy will be needed later.

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

If you are applying for CR1 you do not need any birth certificate from the beneficiary, wedding pictures, chat logs, telephone records, postcards etc until later in the process. All you need are listed below:

G-325A from you and your spouse

I-130

Your proof of citizenship (Birth certificate or copy of American passport or Your Naturalization paper)

Proof of marriage (marriage certificate)

if you were married before your divorce decree

One picture of each of you and names written in the back

$355 Check

This is pretty well said. Just need to add some more.

►photo copied passport of the beneficiary.

►at the back of the photos, use pen rather than pencil and write the DOB of whoever is on that pic. And put in in a small ziplock plastic so it won't go anywhere then just clip it with the folder.

►I would suggest to just use big paper clips to bundle the whole thing so the adjudicator can detached everything quickly.

►Put dividers at the buttom of the paper to divide whether its the main I-130 papers, proof of marriage, and others. This will give the adjudicator a quick access to everything.

►put the whole folder into a big Ziplock plastic before you actually put it inside to its main envelope to protect it from anything that will cause it to get wet or whatever. (we'll never know.)

These are the things I grabbed from my memory when we submitted our I-130 to the USCIS.

Punch 2 holes at the top and use ACCO clip. USCIS uses the 2 holes also.

Agreed.

That is the way the USCIS has done it for years.
