I am so sorry to anyone who was worried about me since I haven't posted in a few months....

Everything is going good so far - Govi and I arrived at JFK on July 11. We had a great time in Nepal but of course the hardest part was saying goodbye to Govi's family... :crying: I will post pics soon I promise :star:

Now is the hard part, finding a job in this economy but hopefully Govi will find something at a store or restaurant... there is a Nepali employment agency that might be able to help him. He got his GC on 8/11 and SS last week.

He is bored sometimes but loves to watch old Nepali movie clips on Youtube and go to Nepal news sites or walk around the neighborhood, fortunately everything is walkable or on bus or train lines so lack of DL is no issue, even I have never had one. Money is tight of course so I have been trying to sell as much as possible on eBay.

just wanted to let everyone know we are fine, still honeymooning :luv:

Did you get the 10 year green card as expected? Nagu got his 10-year green card in the mail yesterday, right exactly on the date the old 2-year conditional one expired! :lol:

You have been missed! Thank you for taking the time to update us and letting us know you and Govi are doing just fine.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Whew! Glad to hear everything is fine and you and Govi are still honeymooning. We were worried!

Has Govi met any other Nepalis here yet? I think that will help, too. The finding a job part can be tough... just be persistent and optimistic and something will come through.
