Are all types of Visa's qualified to go for Advanced medical? or only CR1's? Were on K1 and stuck in AP at NVC.

Someone posted they will take away her passport at the medical examination appointment? Doesn't she need that for the interview?

K1 can take also advance medical.. but I am not sure in ur case.. sorry maybe somebody here can give u more advice

What is the validity of the medical examination?

* Medical examinations are generally valid for 6 months.

I don't think theres anything special about my case, there's a bunch of people stuck at the NVC for additional processing.

Advance Medical Examination is not advisable, however, If you are decided to do it, then go for it.

Some inevitable circumstances may occur during the NVC process and you will never know what are those.

Some, made their medical exams early but then again they got stuck at NVC but these are very rare cases.

Dec 15,2009 - Assigned interview date on January 24,2010!!

Jan. 24, 2010 - Interview!! Approved

Jan. 28, 2010 - VISA received

Mar. 03,2010 - POE, New York (JFK)

Apr. 12,2010- CA ID

May 20,2010- CA Driving License

May, 25,2010-Wife told me that she is pregnant ^_^

Jan.25,2011- Our daughter was born

Mine got taken away too. I now only have the medica; exam receipt, a cd labeled chest radiograph results, and the immunization sheet. The guy at the releasing counter said they would be forwarding it to the US Embassy. He told me to just head on out for my appointment and to just bring along the stuff he gave me. I am still unsure whether or not I passed the medical exam. I only did the blood and urine tests, the chest xray, and the full disrobing part.
