If you need an L visa from Hong Kong Chinese embassy you have two choices. You either get a 30 day visa multi or single entry or nothing. I just got my 30 visa 9-17-09. Travel to Shenzhen then into Hong Kong and back to Yudu

250 miles north of HK total cost $596.30 for trip. We stayed 3 nights in Shenzhen for 130 yuan a night 2 nights in HK for 200 HK dollars. Both were nice clean with air condition. I hope I never have to go to HK again in my life.

the process time to get visa was 24 hours with a 250 HK dollars fee plus visa cost 1020 HK dollars total was

US $163.87

I'd be happy to know (please tell us? ) :

1. what you said to the clerk/officer.

2. what you filled out for the visa app (duration choice )

3. if you asked for longer duration.

TIA !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Mike if I ever see Hong Kong again it will only be for going through their air port to USA or back to china as this is the cheapest travel to and from china I have found. I don't need any of their $9.52 a gallon milk or

$5,000 HK dollart fine for smoking on the bus or $1,500 HK dollar for throwing a cigarette butt on the street.

You actually smoked on a bus and then littered in HK? You rightfully get fined for that in the USA too.

You are a little hyper aren't you, yelling with all caps constantly? Yes, you said YOU DID NOT NEED fines for smoking on a bus and littering. I asked if you did that. Chill out a little.
