Timeline

I am a resident of uae from past 7 years.. as per the U.S. Embassy UAE residents do not need police clearance certificate from UAE, I also checked with the embassy here thru email they replied the same if i have a valid uae residence visa, no need of PCC.

THE WEBSITE MESSAGE IS BELOW:

7. A police clearance certificate from the countries in which the visa applicant lived for more than one year after the age of 16. Please note this is not needed for the UAE or Iran;

[b]Questions: Now NVC is asking for a PCC from UAE[/b],

I WISH TO KNOW I HAVE GOT A PCC ISSUED FROM UAE FOR THE INDIAN CONSULATE PASSPORT CLEARANCE LAST MONTH AND ITS VALID FOR 3 MONTHS, CAN I SEND THE SAME PCC TO THE NVC AS IT ISSUED TO INDIAN CONSULATE.......THEY TOOK ONLY PHOTOCOPY OF IT................... THE ORIGINAL VALID PCC WITH ME NOW CAN I SEND THE SAME.......................

PLS GIVE ME YOUR SUGGESTIONS.................
