Eee it's weird to think that it's pretty much all done with, nearly 3 years + a month to the day since we sent off the I-129F.

I got my letter in the mail last night after filing in mid June... no RFE, no interview.

I know I haven't been around much, but I have nothing to do but praise everyone on these forums for all the help I've had over the years. When I went for my AOS interview 2 years ago, our consular officer told me she'd never seen such a well-put together packet of information, so all of you deserve a huuuuge :thumbs:

All I have to do now is decide whether to stay LPR, or become a dual citizen :whistle:

AOS/EAD/AP:

Apr. 24 2007: AOS/EAD/AP Sent to Chicago Lockbox

Apr. 25 2007: AOS/EAD/AP Arrived at Chicago

Apr. 30 2007: NOA1 for AOS/EAD/AP

May 02 2007: AOS/EAD/AP Cheques cashed

May 03 2007: AOS/EAD/AP Touched

May 22 2007: RFE

May 25 2007: Biometrics for EAD

May 29 2007: EAD Touched

Congratulations!! Sounds like you had a smooth sailing with no RFE's and all that stress-related stuff :thumbs: On a side note, I was reading your blog, and was wondering when are you posting Episode 3?

We did have a pretty easy go of it (I'm almost ashamed to admit that because I know a lot of people on here didn't have such a good time) so I'm just thanking my lucky stars it all worked out in the end. We got one RFE on the AOS - they wanted Tax info that we already sent them... Basically sent the same stuff again and it cleared? Sometimes you gotta wonder lol.

Oh Episode 3, I have it about half written... As a matter of fact, I think I'll go finish it right now!

Congratulations, Ecalos! It's good to see you again. :) I'm going to add your ROC information to help with our stats in this thread.

Go for the citizenship. Then you won't have to worry about going through this again should you ever leave then decide to move back.

I keep hearing that haha, for some reason I'm just so wary of Dual Citizenship... can't put a finger on why I guess. It would definitely make it easier to come and go..
