Good morning. I'm still on page 50-something. :crying:

Looks like I won't be able to keep up on here anymore...

Just re-read the adjustment thread someone posted a few days ago. There were some excellent suggestions in the first 2/3 of that thread.

Yesterday, Steven SURPRISED me by cleaning the plate at this restaurant. He ate this item, which I thouht he'd find too weird:

WASABI AND CUCUMBER CRUSTED RED SNAPPER

with Stir Fried Vegetables, Crispy Wonton and Thai Red Curry Coconut Broth

Then he was still hungry, so I made some jerk chicken served with slightly-toasted bread and some spicy bbq sauce. He found it delicious and asked how I was able to jerk chicken without a jerk pan.

Acrow, sorry for your family's loss. (F)

Nat you manage to eat things I didn't even know existed. I guess I'm pretty unadventurous when he comes to my food too. I actually don't even like the taste of food. I have my favorite Jamaican dishes...and I've got to have my crab legs. I have only had small bites and nibbles of food since August. People don't understand why I'm bigger because I don't eat...but I think my metabolism slowed down a lot after having the boys...so it caught up with me. Jonesie and A are always asking me if I ate because I will go days at a time without eating anything.

i'm with you on the symbolism thing but i can't even lie, i still forget to wear my ring often but that's because i'm not big on jewelry

but don't sweat it, this is a work in progress yunno

but don't feel too bad for being annoyed because you have good reason to be

I would have been cool if the rest of his bling was missing. I took that to mean he looked at the ring and purposedly didn't put it on. He insists that it didn't happen like that. 'TEVA.

Good morning. Haven't read everything but Damien almost never wears his ring due to his job...usually 6 days a week. He cannot wear jewerly of any type. He tries to remember to wear it when we go out...not a big deal to me. We are not less married.

I never take my ring off cuz I love the bling bling...just kidding. We first had plain matching bands then he upgraded mine so he still has his band. Plan to upgrade his for our anniversary as a surprise. I bet he'll wear it more

That's how I look at it also. I don't keep mine on all the time, no biggie.

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((jawi)))))))))))))))) come yah!

Maybe I will feel like this once we are no longer newlyweds...but right now...NAH MAN...nutten nuh go so.

Eeeekkkk....Sus, are you safe?

I am 99.9% sure - cause no one knows what I do, lol - But, it just sucks, these are two of my favorite people - they did volunteer to take the package when presented, and neither is upset - it's just quickly becoming a different place to work.

Jawi,

I definitely understand how you feel as I feel the ring is a symbol of your commitment as well and we never take ours off. Poor Hubby's ring was stuck on h is finger for 3 weeks because he has gained weight and poor man was in pain but we finally got it off with a valiant effort! Although he can't wear it on married finger until its stretched he is now wearing it on his pinky because he knows how upset I would be if he doesn't have it on. I know it's not in any way a reflection of his love if he doesn't wear it but it's like our wonder twin powers ( I know that is silly ) but its a part of the bond we share.

Jawi that man loves you and the ring is only an inanimate object and our emotions get the best of us most times. I am sure he knows now how much it means to you and he and the ring won't ever part. I so wish you could fly to him now and put your arms around him and all will be right in the world again (F)

LOL @ you fattening up the man.

Nope...I'm not in a hugging mood. *pout*

Nat, he sounds pretty adventurous! i think my hubby starved the first month he was here....he even thought a sandwich was wierd...

Girl for real! I have never known a man that doesn't want a good sandwich every now and then. A won't touch them either. LMAO

Feel better Bunzie!

That's not good Jawi because your body moves into starvation mode and any time you eat food it packs it away thinking it won't get more anytime soon. You need to eat little meals and healthy snacks all day long - you need to stay strong to heal that body back up!

LOL, you were MIA - We did Canal St, Times Square, Irie Jamboree - with Dillon's MIL!

I just need to take a moment and say I have the greatest MIL in the world....... :ot2:

 Sus and I are very glad your parents taught you to share.....
